'80s Teen Dramas - 6 Movie Set

Brings back memories getting to see these movies again!

I saw this back in the '80's when it was new and have thought about it often. I got it for my granddaughters. They love it. I strongly believe this Billie Jean movie should be rated even higher than the 6.6 it has today. It has a rare plot. An innocent is on the run from the law because of someone's lies. Other teenagers start a Movement in defense of her, but there are those who have something to gain by shutting up Billie Jean forever. Good vs evil has clear sides, but there becomes some blurring when people are misled. It's a good movie to watch with the kids then chat with them about values and life situations. We haven't watched any of the other movies in this set. According to iMDB.com, only one other is highly rated.

Only movie I wanted was Legend Of Billy Jean. The others were just collateral damage. This collection cost a fraction of the price as Legend Of Billy Jean costs on its own. So I went this direction. I'm a collector, but not in the "quality" sense. I like to save these old movies to preserve them. The ridiculous display of anti-creativity abundant in the movie industry is disturbing. Remaking all the greatest classic movies, BADLY has become a plague to the entertainment industry. So in truth, getting all of these movies for less than what I would have paid for just the one I was looking for, suited me extremely well. Instead of preserving the excellence of just one, I have been able to preserve the excellence of a group. And reliving these titles whenever I so choose is well worth the purchase.

I have loved the movies, "Legends of Billie Jean", "Immediate Family", and "Fast Forward". It was fun having those movies in my collection now. I remember seeing "Fresh Horses" and "Little Nikita" long time ago, but couldn't remember what they were about. It was nice seeing them again. After receiving this DVD, I was able to watch the movie, "Blame it on the Night" for the first time ever. I thought it was entertaining. I am glad that I purchased this disk.

I bought this multi-movie DVD for "The Legend of Billie Jean" and "Little Nikita", which were well worth the price of the DVD, and then some. The other 4 movies I just consider bonus material ... I haven't watched them yet.

The DVDs work fine. Was looking for one specific movie, and found a couple on here I'd seen before, so grabbed this set instead of the single movie DVD.

For the price, you can't beat it. We had a few good family movie nights and it was fun to introduce the kids to movies from my youth.

Not gonna lie, only bought this because it was cheap and we wanted the "Legend of Billie Jean." Let me tell you if you get bored one night and think that you want to see these other movies you've never heard of, DON'T. There's a reason you've never heard of them. "Fresh Horses" with Andrew McCarthy and Molly Ringwald was AWFULLLLL and we couldn't even finish watching it. Trying to recreate that Breakfast Club vibe and just couldn't.

Este set tiene buenas peliculas y sin duda la mejor es "The legend of Billie Jean" El problema por el cual no tiene 5 estrellas es porque no tiene subtitulos y ni siquiera CC (closed caption). En fin, uy buen precio para 6 peliculas.
