FurHaven Flexible Fit Costume Hat-Polar Bear (Cream), Extra Small/Small

First of all, my dog is on his tablet right now filing a formal complaint with his union rep, I suspect serious sanctions are warranted for daring to subject my very fancy and elegant Elkhound to this "monster hat" but omg it is too cute. Super soft, well made, the ears holes are in the right spots, and just overall surprisingly nice for the bargain price. Fits well and sizing is just as described. Fun blue and teal, easy to put on (keeping it on, well that will depend on your dog and how patient they are with such foolish human silliness) and nice construction and stitching means it will last. Can't wait to use for a costumer, assuming I am ever allowed to put it on him again. We'll see I guess.

My dogs kinda hates it, but he looks so cute! The sherpa fabric is so soft and fluffy. The holes for his ears are in the perfect place and help it to stay in place.

Pretty good quality for the price, and the velvro works well enough that my pit mix wasn't able to rip it off of my pyrenees, who usually hates wearables but didn't mind this on his head. Also, it's really cute.

Bought this for halloween. Super cute. Easy on, easy off. One needs to make sure it's sized right for the dog so it's not too loose, not too tight. Mine was for a standard poodle, so I bought medium. They have skinny heads, but poofy hair. The ear holes allowed me to pull the ears out, while the little bear ears were in front. The velcro worked fine. With the medium size, I had about 1.5 inches of velcro to hold it together. Dog tried to scratch it off, so started giving lots of treats, telling him how good he was. Then left it on for quite a while. Took it off, put it on again, treats again. Rinse, repeat. This way, when it was time for the big event, he had no problem wearing it. Everyone thought it was the best thing they'd seen. A couple caveats. First: They have a bit of a chemical smell, not strong, but enough to notice, so I put them outside in the sun to air out. Had it not gone away, I would have washed in soapy water. But after a few hours, it was fine. Second: there are ear holes. (addressing the reviews that complain about the ear holes) It's a costume, not a hat to keep your dog warm. (And even if it was a hat to keep your dog warm, I'd bet they'd rather have the ear holes than not.)

The picture they provide is not accurate! The hat has two huge ear holes and in the pic it looks like there aren’t any holes. I specifically wanted one with no holes to keep my dogs ears warm and covered for the winter.

Hi, purchase this for my 5 pound Yorkie whose ears are always cold but even though I purchase the smallest one is still too big for him, but the quality was good. It looks And feels like it's very warm. That's why I gave it a 4 star. Even though I didn't fit it doesn't look and feel like it's perfect to keep them warm.

Though it looked like a kids bear mask, like another reviewer, I used it it helped protect my old Jack Russel from hurting himself as he was unsteady from age & blind. It didn't stay well on his head as it was short & flat. The "earholes" were a bit too small & tended to crush his ears.
