Optimum train speed...
Great quality, like all Brio products. These long tracks are an essential item to create a nice long stretch of track to help build up optimum train speed! The speed we manage to reach with these nice long tracks makes the investment well worth it. I purchased a couple of extra track sets (straight and curved) in order to jazz up the complexity of my sons train track. Brio is an investment, no doubt about it.

A need not a want
Our Brio train sets did not come with enough straights, all I seemed to have was endless amounts of bends! Who needs so many bends seriously?I was getting fed up with not being able to make a good sized track so ordered these.They are pretty expensive for what they are, it works out around 1.50£ per a straight but they honestly have made my track making so much more easier. I now look like I know what I am doing when creating new shaped tracks for my little one.

Does the job, but expensive
Does what you'd want. Fits as expected. Branded Brio. All is fine. It is only grooved on 1 side, which isn't really an issue for a straight part. If it was curved and only grooved on 1 side you'd be asking questions. My only issue is that for the money the cheaper alternatives seem to be more in touch as they have grooved both sides so that if your little one is very young, it doesn't matter which way up they hold it when putting it in place. That's why it's not perfect. A 4.5* would be better, but not an option, so only getting 4*.

My four year old grandson loves BRII train tracks and trains! Very durable! Ordered this as extra pieces to the ton he already has.
