First impressions upon opening were good, the box is a bit suspect, no doubt rolled off a cheap mass produced factory and twinned with that generic text that subtly hints of it's Chinese origins.Once I opened the box however, I was pleasantly surprised, packaging is robust and prevented any noticeable damages. It also comes with a handy microfiber cleaning cloth, which is nice.It comes in 3 parts, the base, the head and the neck. All parts screw together, which is handy as you may need to readjust them over time, especially when I first assembled it, I found the neck wanting to pull one way and the base the other. Quickly undoing the base and rescrewing instantly fixed this with no downsides.Appearance wise, it's pretty enough, appears to be a mixture of painted plastic and metal. Mine did have a couple of small scratches on a bit of plastic, but it's not noticeable once fully assembled.Using it as easy as, slide the switch to ON to turn on the light and peer through the looking glass. I'm really not sure why some people are complaining it's "dim" or "disappointing", I just used some generic Aldi AAA batteries and does an amazing job in an already lit room. It has 2 LEDs which provide a bright white light, no options for brightness or colour, and it requires 3 AAA to work (a tip for brighter LEDs is to use higher Voltage batteries, non rechargeable ones are 1.5V, rechargeable ones are 1.2V).The glass is clear and scratch free, meaning I can very effectively use it to repair broken phones and electronics, as well as painting small models and miniatures.In terms of durability, unless you abuse it, there doesn't appear a reason for it not to last for a while, it's a precision tool and should be treated as such.The only downside I can think of is that it could probably do with a little more weight in the base, doesn't have to be a huge amount, but because of the nature of how this light works, it has a tendency to wobble if not on a perfectly even surface.I think for the price, I would have liked a more premium feeling product, but when you look at competitors that are either less than half price and made out of cheap plastic with no glass; or more than double the price for a swivelly arm, I feel like this is fair value for money.

Good light, dose the job especially for trout fly tying. may up grad later .

This is a super magnifier with light. Large lense and free standing and flexible arm.It enables one to inspect ones work and find flaws which otherwise may get overlooked. Very prompt delivery.

The metal arm isn't strong enough to support the weight of the glass and so droops if you set the glass to near to the horizontal. Light feature is nice and its a good size for solder work. My use some hot glue to secure it in the optimal position

this was very disappointing. the glass lens was too heavy for the neck and would not hold position. once assembled it could not be taken apart again

Its okay. I like the lens size. The led light is not very bright. The stand is stable only if you do not need to keep adjusting it while useing the magnifier or it does tend to topple over. Easily fixed by placing something heavy on base legs. Easy tp dismantle and pack away.

The head where the magnifying glass is, is too heavy for the base and it keeps falling over

Used this for my painting by numbers canvas. Light is great and can see numbers more clearly.

Si estabilidad es nula. Por lo demás cumple su función "de aquella manera" no volvería a comprarla. La luz que tiene con muy poco uso empieza a fallar. No ha sido la mejor de mis compras ni con mucho.

Die Lieferung ging sehr schnell und die Lupe ist genau wie beschrieben. Ich benutze sie für meine Edelsteine und Schmuck und bin zufrieden damit. Es ist sehr praktisch, besonders wenn die Steine nicht so geeignet sind, nur mit einer Hand zu halten. Preis - Leistung auf jeden fall top!
