I originally purchased this product after seeing all the hype about it on social media. I was due to fly long-haul from London to Brisbane, so I thought it would be a great idea. The product itself works exactly as described and is comfortable and sturdy; I could definitely see myself falling asleep with it around my neck. I like how you can wear it on either side of your neck, making it perfect for those who lean left or right. The strap lets you adjust the pillow to fit your neck more loosely or more tightly, so it should fit necks of many different sizes. However, as someone new to flying and sensitive to noise, I wear my AirPods during flights. Unfortunately, this product prevents me from doing so, and therefore I decided to return the product.

Tried this out for the first time for a nine hour flight last week - it's a neck pillow. So it's never going to be anywhere like a normal sleep, unlike the ads like to make you believe. But for a neck pillow it's definitely the least bad I have ever tried. I like the way it sits like a scarf, it's light and easier to attach to a backpack then a traditional neck pillow, and it does provide lots more support than a normal neck pillow. Before the trip, I tried it on just for watching TV at home and actually thought it was so comfy I kept it on for a while to doze a little. It looks a bit more stylish than a neck pillow too. I recommend it, though I think it's still very expensive for what is essentially a scarf and a piece of plastic.

First impressions..doesn't look like 25pounds (19), worth of value. A bit of material, plastic neck brace and a Velcro. Then I tried it on...surprisingly comfortable and relaxing. The material is "fleecy" with the neck cradle (brace), in a pocket in the scarf (i.e. Easy to remove so the scarf can be washed), and warm against the neck. It's a pretty simple design as most of the good products are and extremely light weight and a small "foot print". Update to follow as I have a 13 hour trip planned in August but have to say,bought one for the good lady as I reckon these will be the ticket ! Why four stars...not worth twenty notes BUT worth it as a travel aid ... Update Aug 2017 11 1/2 hour flight completed with my Trtl. Got to say what an excellent bit of kit! Felt more comfortable than I had on previous flight and actually managed a snooze (albeit it was a loooong flight). Would definitely take with me again. Bit of a god-send and a must for the hand luggage.

This device fundamentally solves the problem of not being able to sleep upright. Other travel pillows provide support at the back and sides, which us useless. You already have a chair behind your head, usually with headrest bits on the sides. The problem is that your head falls slightly forward. This either prevents you from falling asleep, or if you are able to fall asleep with your neck in a weird postion, it means you'll wake up with a very sore neck (and even then it won't be very long before you wake up). With the Trtl providing support in the only area where support is needed - i.e. in front - you can just relax. Your jaw kind of rests / leans on it on one side, and that's it. No movement. Most of the weight of your head is still leaning to the back/side, but with support at the front/side, it stays put. The shape of the Trtl is flexible enough that it doesn't feel too rigid, i.e. it doesn't feel like it's poking into you. It's comfortable. And you can adjust it anyway - you just pull it around slightly further to the front or slightly further around the side, slightly up or down etc until it's in the right spot, then that's it. I fly long-haul frequently. Also at least once per year I fly UK-Australia return. With all of these long haul flights I've never been able to actually fall asleep. I kind of doze but that's all. I've just done the UK-Australia return trip using the Trtl for the first time. I slept for 4 hours both ways (I was working, watching movies and doing other things the rest of the time, also travelling with small children, so I only had my eyes closed for slightly longer than this - in other words I got almost as much sleep as I possibly could). This is a dramatic difference. The Trtl + an eye mask solved this problem for me.

I paid £59 for this which is incredibly expensive for what it is. However, it’s a good product and I would recommend it if you can get a good price somewhere online. It’s easy to use, folds up small, and does support your neck and head really well. I would give it 5 stars if it was cheaper, and was grateful for it on a recent long haul flight. There was an offer on the actual TRTL site but delivery was too slow for my upcoming trip.

Finally...a neck support that's comfortable & not bulky for travel.

Es muy cómodo, necisita muy poco espacio en tu maleta. Es un poco sudoroso despues de unas horas (en verano) pero vale la pena.
