The rating, tops because it is so easy to use, to start, to maintain.Like? Starting it. I have various hedge trimmers, chainsaws, strimmers, generators. All are ok but find I have to tweek to keep starting fine, even from new. This engine, no such problems after around 17 uses in the past three weeks. Takes next to no physical effort. That, combined with the fact it is multi-purpose with the add on units available makes it the most useful portable tool I have purchased in years. As for the 'Portable' bit, comes on a trolley with wheels and a handlebar to move it around with. I've made a lot of space in my van by using this with the add-ons as have cleared out the separate units I carried for each job. Wish I had seen it 20 years ago.Who would I recommend it to? Private lanscape gardeners. Small construction firms ( Guys, it will do everything). Private mobile car valeting companies. ( Looks professional, unlike your Karcher pressure washer, which of course you may have to ask if you can plug in.)

Bought this to replace one I bought about 5 years ago broke. I was using it continuously in my valeting business…. Accidentally left outside in a heavy frost forgetting to drain… that would kill any washer. Very powerful washer for its size. This engine is bought separately and can run a generator or a dirty water bump too!

super little generator just the thing we have been looking for for a long time to replace the large bulky and very heavy ones used in the passed also have the pressure washer unit just as happy with that item too

Dealings with Evolution Power Tools UK...Bought this for my business, first pull handle failed within 1 week then first wheel came off within one month then the second. Today the replacement pull handle came off again and has broken the plastic inside the mechanism. I've emailed the company today and asking for a replacement, did phone over two months back but they said needed to send item back and they would look at it and get back to me. I run a business, so asked for a replacement in the meantime... answer NO. This time I've no choice emailed them today and will arrange to send back, then I have to hire a pressure washer.Overall, great idea however quality and wheel design questionable .... I bought this for use with the Evo engine and am very happy with it as it does everything it should do and it does it very well. Dirt from patio slabs, gone! Years and years of moss build up on paths is a thing of the past!The output is very easy to connect and use with the Evo system once you know how.As others have said, you will need the engine to make this work, it is not a standalone unit!

I bought this piece of kit on 6 July 2013. It requires the Evo 200 engine unit to operate it, which I ordered at the same time. Amazon told me that it was temporarily out of stock and that they would e-mail me with an estimate for delivery. After two very frustrating conversations with them, over a period of weeks, they repeatedly told me that they were having supplier problems and eventually gave me an estimated date for delivery of 20 Aug - 05 Sept 2013..........almost two months after the original order was submitted!!!!! I cancelled my order for the Evo 200 engine unit and re-ordered it from Screwfix. Next day, I was contacted by Evolution Power Tools, who told me that it would be delivered the following day.....and it was!!!Only thing is that I had to pay a bit more for it, but the lesson here is.....don't bother with Amazon for this piece of kit...they can't supply it. Deal with a company who can.

When I received mine via Amazon I was initially disappointed as it would not start.However I personally found Evolution's customer service to be very helpful and quick to respond, they were more than willing to collect and replace my engine unit, although this was not required as they quickly diagnosed the problem and offered the solution. It now starts first time and every time.I use this with the power washer attachment and for the money its a great buy.

Il manque des renseignement sur cet outil. Le client doit savoir au premier coup d'oeil sur la pub qu'il ne s'agit que d'un élément de l'outil proposé, car on ne voit pas comment on pourrait l'utiliser. J'ai donc été très déçu de devoir le vous le renvoyer
