Moon Minnesota (Moon Handbooks)

This was the best all around travel book for Minnesota, we were already familiar with Moon's Wisconsin book. We ended up using other sources for restaurants. This book gives the history and what is important in each location

Got the book before I went to the state Great book but didnt really enjoy my visit tho Mall of America was great

This book covers the basics and will get you started, but there is very little detail to inspire you if you haven't already made the decision to travel here. The overall presentation is quite summary, and the attractions and listings included are only a fraction of the available options. This is especially true of the chapters for the Twin Cities, which could support an independent guide alone. Cultural and historical contexts are also only introductory.One thing that does stand out about this guide is its dedication to outdoor activities. This content is especially rewarding considering the fact that so many people write Minnesota off as a frozen wasteland. Nothing could be further from the truth, and this guide proves that point. If outdoor activity is your thing, you'll like this book more than I did.

Great guide book with state broken down into regions. Very helpful on our recent trip to Minn. Lots of helpful, practical facts, and fun side notes on each area. I will look for these guide books for future trips.

Moon always does a good job & Minnesota is no exception. The book covers everything I want to know when planning a trip.
