The seller sent the TENs straight away. It was well packaged, had spare batteries included and easy to follow instructions. It was neat and compact and fitted in the hospital bag without taking up much room. It was soooo useful during active labour. I ended up being induced and on the oxytocin drip. I what wanted as natural a birth as possible so decided to see how long I could go just using the TENs for pain relief. I found it a really good distraction and I liked the fact that there was a boost button, to help me focus more on the tingling sensation rather than the contractions. I also liked the fact that the Elle TENs had levels and it went up to 15 I think. This meant that I didn’t crank it up too soon and it was good to know I could always increase the settings if needed. I found the TENs so effective I didn’t need any pain relief and I delivered my baby 6 hours after active labour had started.
