Do I need to charge when I first get the lamp?

I was able to use the lamp right out of box. But I did give it a full charge after a few minutes of playing with the lamp. Charging took less than hour for the indicator to turn green indicating full charge

How long to chafe lamp. They have been charting for 6 hours and still have re light? Love the lamps and hope they take a charge.

Yes while it’s charging there is a red light on top of lamp and when it’s fully charged, it displays a green light. Love these lights. I have 2

My lamp worked beautifully at first. Now I can't get it to charge! No light comes on at the top. What am I doing wrong?

Not sure. The time I tried to charge the lamps, I couldn’t get them to charge. What I discovered was that I did not have the cord. Plugged in far enough on the lamp end. That was a ‘me’ problem and not the lamp. Not sure if this helps. I them made sure I had both end pushed in far enough. Haven’t had a problem since.
