A very good remake and update of the original Cosmos
In my eyes, nothing will ever reach the level of the original Cosmos and the way Carl Sagan guided you through the wonders of the Cosmos but this remake is as close as anything will ever be. With stunning visuals, updated information from new discoveries/research and the wonderful way of telling you a story and explaining scientific concepts of Neil deGrasse Tyson (a worthy successor to Sagan), it should be seen by everyone in the planet.

This is by far my most favourite documentary series
This is by far my most favourite documentary series, I have seen all BBC Brian Cox, Universe series and some of the original Cosmos. This is not just informative, but also very entertaining. Very fast pace, won't bore you and full of neat CGI animations.I definitely recommend this to everyone who has any level of interest in astronomy / astro physics.

Brilliant
Truly inspiring I watched it on Netflix and had to get the blueray as it's now off Netflix. Neil explains science in a way even the most limitee educated people can understand. I can't wait for the new one to come out

Ultimate educative entertainment
A wonderfully illustrated clear explanation of the key science (and the history behind it) leading to our current understanding of the Cosmos. I consider it a must 'watch and inwardly digest' if one wants to understand the big picture of what we are, where we are and where we might be going. The 13 50 min episodes provide compelling entertainment as well as education.
