Really nice warm sounding strings
Great strings, I put them on my Taylor 114CE as Taylor’s are naturally very bright sounding guitars and I wanted it to sound a bit warmer and these strings have done the trick, they sound great, nice warm, mellow tone with a hint of brightness, easy to install, packaged very nicely, very affordable. Time will tell how well they resist rust but D’Addario always make high-quality products, also nickel strings naturally tend to last longer than PB’s in my experience with other Nickel strings sets.

Excellent strings
After over 30 years of guitar playing I am still looking for the perfect string, D'Addario have come close with these. The first thing to mention is that they look like electric guitar strings, which is a little confusing to begin with. They are smooth to my fingers and have very little string noise. They sound bright - very bright - which again for me is a good thing. There are lots of high end overtones, but the bass still projects. On my Martin the mid's are a little reduced, which could be a good or bad thing, I tend to slightly scoop the mid's anyway so it wasn't a problem for me.They last well, they last as long as some coated strings - but not all coated strings. They certainly keep their brightness longer than standard 80/20's and phosphor bronze strings. If you like bright long lasting strings give these a try.

Ok - sound a bit dull compared to elixir ph-Bronze
These used to be my go to strings for acoustic. So when my new taylor needed restringing naturally I went for these. Made me realise the elixirs that taylor use sound much better….
User
Excellent, only use these on my acoustics
I am a regular gigging musician, and I have tried many many different strings.. Ernie ball paradigms, elixirs, D’Addario phosphor bronze..And these come out on top, they last long and hold their tuning. Plus they genuinely sound great!!!Anyone who says they are ‘Too bright’ should probably consider changing their gauge of strings then. Because the strings lift up the Mids in the guitar, giving a slight illusion that the guitar is trebly (which it is not)My honest recommendation is the ‘Light’ gauge, it’s not so heavy that it chokes the guitar out but heavy enough for a thicker sound!Lastly, with every other string brand.... CLEAN THEM.Buy them :)

Really Impressed
I'm really pleasantly surprised by these, just the right amount of warmth without sounding muddy, and they feel pretty good too- I'm not really a fan of D'Addario's other strings' feel, but these are nice and easy to play. They've been on for about a month now and so far they don't seem to sound/look noticeably worse. 5/5

Excellent quality sound
Very impressed with the quality of these strings and ease of fitting. Would definitely recommend to all acoustic guitar users.
User
Great sound not sure about longevity
Great sound on a dreadnought with stika top rosewood back and side's, bright, warm and punchy. Started to fade at 2 months and were starting to rust
User
Great strings, lovely sound.
Having previously purchased some D'Addario XT strings, I was disappointed at how quickly they sounded dull. After reading other reviews, I went for these Nickel Bronze instead. They're so much better. I play an Epiphone EJ200 and the sound from these strings is brilliant. Great value for money, I thoroughly recommend these strings.

Sound great on the right guitar
I tried these on several guitars and the result was mixed. On a couple of cheaper guitars the Nickel Bronze strings were awful, but on my higher end Yairi mahogany the Nickel Bronze sounds amazing and far better than the PB or 80/20s. On the right guitar they really bring out the best in the guitar.
