This bag won me over by a huge margin.The biggest selling point to me was the pockets. As opposed to the Sony bag, which has exactly one pocket on the front, this bag has pockets all over the place: zippered pocket on the front, the back, under the top cover, and two open pockets on the sides. As someone who carries around a bunch of other smaller items (cleaning tools, spare battery, wife's emergency lip gloss and hand cream), these pockets are absolutely invaluable. The pockets are fairly spacious too: the front pocket is a bit baggy so it allows items of ~2cm in depth without obnoxiously protruding the front of the bag, great for the larger of small items, and the back pocket is a bit tight, but will easily fit travel documents and other flat items. You can also fit a smaller water bottle into the open side pockets (maybe even a larger one if the interior isn't too stuffed like mine).Alongside that, this bag very snuggly fits my camera (A7 IV) alongside two large, bulky G Master lenses (50mm and 24-70mm with their lens hood on; clearly won't fit a GM telephoto zoom lens) without making the bag itself look any bulkier, which was the main requirement for me out of a camera bag. While the Sony-branded bag could also fit these three items, there's a lot of space that goes unused if you don't want to put other items in the same divider pocket as the lenses, which might end up scratching the lens body.
