If you have never tried these replacement wheels then you need to just get these or try out a chair that has them. Sooo smooth. Get the twin wheels though not the single ones, and don't just go for the cheapest as some have dodgy bearings...

I used these wheels to replace the originals on an rather heavy office chair in preparation for switching to a tempered glass chair mat. I'm really impressed with their quality in every way. They were a breeze to install, and are working very smoothly and quietly, with no signs of wear whatsoever on the new glass chair mat. Although both the wheels and the glass chair mat were somewhat more expensive, I would highly recommend this combination for quiet comfort. I also think they will both last a long time.

I swapped out the standard plastic wheels on my PMU stool for these rollerblade-style wheels, and I honestly don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner. The difference is HUGE. They glide so smoothly across my floors—no more awkward dragging or squeaky rolling when I move around the studio. They’re also super quiet, which makes the whole vibe more calm and professional during appointments. Plus, they don’t scratch my floors or get jammed up with hair and dust (which used to drive me crazy mid-service). If you’re in a beauty studio or PMU setting and you're constantly repositioning your stool, these are 100% worth it. So much more comfortable and efficient. Total upgrade for such a small change.

***Update 9/13/2024*** Just giving a quick update. I was super neglectful (and I am quite messy at times), but the wheels were basically dirt resistant. I transferred them to a new, better chair just today and cleaned them earlier this week, all it took was a little bit of bleach spray (lysol) and a quick rinse 10 mins later. Minor debris removal necessary. I also did end up getting a new and better floor mat, obvs no crack now, and the rolling was even smoother, so again/still, it's not the wheels' fault if you're having trouble rolling. These wheels are still fantastic and worth it to me. So the stars stand. ***original 6/22/2023*** I obviously hesitated buying these based on reviews, but I found these after previously considering single wheel replacements for my chair. It's only been a week but I am so glad I opted for these double wheel ones. They're the same size and similar to the wheels originally on my chair. Silent and smooth, I just like rolling in my chair now (like a kid again). I might come back and update this if there's any negative changes but so far, the only downside is that it is so smooth, that my damaged carpet mat and the carpet are dented (3+ years same spot) and so it's about the same amount of trouble getting out of/rolling over those damaged spots. I'm due to replace the mat anyway, but I suspect it will be a lot easier to get around on a non-damaged floor surface. Just FYI, if you're complaining about your inability to roll on carpet, it probably has to do with the fact that you have little to no thigh muscle or determined by the pile height of your carpet. I am not saying this as an insult; based on experience. I have used office chairs on all sorts of flooring at previous jobs, and I have weak legs but based on pile height or flooring type it was always easier. These wheels are definitely worth it so far. And the price point makes for a great value.

Perfect replacement for the old and barely working wheels that have been on my chair for years. They fit perfectly and roll easily. Liked them so well I bought a set for my wife's office chair.

These are fabulous! The wheels in my office chair kept coming apart, and I thought I needed to get a new chair. But then these popped up on my search list, and I took a chance on them, for both of the office chairs in my home. They are easy to install, and are just so amazing! They roll really easily, and smoothly. I truly wish I'd known about these sooner, I could have saved my floors, as the old wheels cut up the vinyl flooring pretty badly. Highly recommend these wheels!
