I use normally use about 4-5 squirts, On a old Soft towel. And I spry in the corners of the cat basket. This helps my cat to chill. If it works on my cat I think it will work on yours. If your cat is anything like my own. 8:5/10) And it dose the Job.. Its pretty Good:)

Does this have a strong smell?

This does not have a strong odour that you will be able to smell if its on your cats toy in a room. Up close yes you can smell it, but it just smells a bit minty. The cats however will definitely know its there, my cats love it.
