Didn’t end up being a fan of the colour combo, but great function and quality of Littman as usual.

Excellent sound quality
I cannot recommend the Cardiology IV more. Sound quality is second to none as it masks "rubbing" noises created by the tube. Particularly useful in a noisy ward environment. The ear pieces fit comfortably and are adjustable.

Great sound and versatility
Much better sound than my classic 2 which unfortunately stopped working after 8 years. I’m a GP trainee so I invested in this one to have both adult and paediatric diaphragms. Blue tubing is darker than the pictures but lighter than navy.

Great sound
I've been really impressed with the Littmann Cardiology IV Stethoscope. Despite having some hearing loss from years working on helicopters, I find the sound quality of this stethoscope way better than the classic ones. Even compared to the Eko Core electronic stethoscope, which is based on the Cardiology IV, I prefer using the Littmann the old-fashioned way. It's just so clear and reliable - definitely a top choice for anyone in primary care, ED or prehospital care.

Not lasted as expected.
Owned for 3 years after having a cheaper littman with no problems for many years prior. While the sound quality is better with the cardiology IV the diaphragm easily falls off and I've lost about 3 or 4 and at 20 pound to replace this is not cheap. Did complain to littman who did once send me a free one but said 'it's a consumable part'. I lost 2 within about 3 months however...seems to be a common problem. Now the head keeps sticking and doesn't spin around. Again litmann said its a common problem. For the cost of the stethoscope I would expect it to be more sturdy. My older cheaper littmann has lasted much better without these problems. Its put me off littmann and in the future I may look at MDF like other colleagues. These are a lot cheaper and replace so called 'consumable parts' for free. Think your just paying for the brand name now.

Nueva versión del modelo Cardiology de Littman. En mi caso lo compré azul con olivas y campana en negro. El pedido llegó en tiempo y forma adecuados. Muy contenta con el producto, permite mucha mejor auscultación de soplos cardiacos, auscultación pulmonar…
