Lightweight and Ergonomic Design
After using the Bosch CleverMixx Hand Blender for several weeks, here’s my assessment of its pros and cons: Pros: Powerful Performance: With a 600 W motor, this hand blender delivers impressive blending power. It easily handles a variety of tasks, from pureeing soups to blending smoothies and even chopping harder ingredients like nuts or ice, providing smooth results every time. Lightweight and Ergonomic Design: The design is lightweight, making it comfortable to hold and maneuver during use. The ergonomic grip feels natural in hand, reducing strain on the wrist during longer blending tasks. This feature is especially appreciated when blending larger quantities. Multiple Speed Settings: The hand blender comes with two speed settings, allowing for versatility in blending. The lower speed is great for more delicate tasks like emulsifying dressings, while the higher speed handles tougher blending jobs with ease. Easy to Clean: The detachable blending shaft makes cleaning a breeze. It can be rinsed under water or placed in the dishwasher, which simplifies the cleanup process significantly after use. This is a huge plus for busy cooks looking to minimize their time spent on cleanup. Compact Storage: Its compact design means it doesn’t take up much space in my kitchen. It’s easy to store in a drawer or cabinet, unlike bulky stand blenders, which is perfect for those with limited kitchen space. Stylish Appearance: The black and anthracite color scheme gives the blender a modern and sleek look, complementing my kitchen decor well. It feels sturdy and well-made, adding to its overall aesthetic appeal. Cons: Noise Level: The hand blender can be somewhat noisy during operation, especially at higher speeds. While this is common for most hand blenders, it may be a consideration for those who prefer quieter appliances. Limited Accessories: Unlike some competing models that come with a variety of attachments and accessories, this hand blender is relatively basic. While it performs well for its primary functions, it lacks additional features such as a whisk attachment or a chopper, which could enhance its versatility. Corded Design: Being a corded model, it limits maneuverability compared to cordless options. If you need to blend in a location far from an outlet, this could be a minor inconvenience, especially when dealing with longer blending tasks. Speed Control: The speed control is somewhat limited to only two settings. While they are effective for most tasks, some users may prefer a more gradual speed adjustment for greater control over the blending process. Suction on Countertops: When blending at high speeds, the blender can create a bit of suction against the countertop, which may make it slightly harder to maneuver if you’re trying to move it around while blending. Overall Verdict: The Bosch CleverMixx MSM2610BGB Hand Blender is a solid choice for anyone looking for a reliable, powerful, and easy-to-use blending tool. Its impressive performance, lightweight design, and easy cleaning make it a great addition to any kitchen. While it has some minor drawbacks, such as noise level and limited accessories, the overall functionality and efficiency of the blender make it a worthwhile investment for everyday cooking tasks. If you need a straightforward hand blender that delivers consistent results without breaking the bank, the Bosch CleverMixx is an excellent option.

HAVE I FOUND IT ?
I feel I’ve become something of an expert on hand blenders. This is my sixth in just over 2 years, Including my first-ever Braun, the failure of which after 20 years, due to accident rather than wear and tear, triggered the process. Lessons I’ve learned include the following: 1. Avoid ALL made-in-China models with two speed or variable speed 800w motors; the two I’ve bought - different-looking and with different brand names, but undoubtedly with the same motor - both burned out after around 3 months daily use, the only ones ever to do so. It may be no coincidence that the instructions warn you not to run them for more than 30secs at a time - which is pretty feeble for a supposedly powerful motor in such small machines, and pretty much impractical. 2. Avoid machines with plastic blade housings - the second Braun I bought started rapidly to wear away its base, despite only ever being used in a pyrex bowl. There’s probably enough plastic by-product in my system already without contributing more. 3. Avoid machines which, in addition to cut-outs in the foot, have extra holes in the side of the blade cover - they clog up, slowing the process and probably therefore contributing to the motor burn-outs. The smaller and narrower they are, the quicker they clog up, but the largest ones are not exempt from this failing. 4. Make very sure that the shaft is very well sealed where it passes up into the stem from the blades. In two of the machines, including the second, cheap Braun, there was a sufficient gap to suck up food which was then very hard to expel for cleaning - if all of it ever was. 5. Avoid all under-powered models, eg, the 200w Voche which had insufficient grunt to puree 500g of well-cooked veggies (no potatoes); 400w is probably the minimum to consider. 6. If possible, use a tried and tested blade cover design; the Philips model Amazon sent me for free constantly developed airlocks inside its cover, resulting in the blades whizzing round in air, not helpful... So here I am on version number six, but yet again, I am saying only, “So far, so good”; one wouldn’t want to tempt providence with five stars again, knowing how devilishly weak-willed that lady is. However this Bosch does have several plus points. Big plus, it’s not made in China, for a start, but in Slovenia; it has no holes in the side of the blade cover, very generously-sized cutouts in the base, and a complex seal which seems to be a model of efficient design, where the shaft passes into the stem. The 600w single speed motor has plenty of grunt, and comes with no restrictions on the length of time you may run it - the only recommended constraints being, rather obviously, not to run it longer than you need to do the job, and don't use it for pureeing potatoes. It has a longer cable than some of the others, too, 130cm. It’s not perfect. It makes a little more noise than any of the others, but for myself I don’t mind that. The top of the stem that bayonets into the motor handle is quite small, a little too small - and shiny - for my feeble old hand-grip, and the fix didn’t seem as quite as positive or as penetrating as many others. And, presumably because of the large basal cutouts, it doesn’t blend quite so smoothly quite so quickly as my old Braun. But these are minor issues, I feel, compared to its apparent assets. I remain ever the optimist...

Simply souper!
Great hand blender. Reviews complained about one speed I haven’t had an issue. It works really well, doesn’t splash hot liquid all over you like my old one, slight tilt ensures you suck in all the big veg to be blended. Not a lot of vibration or noise. Very easy to clean. I’ve just finished making the soup in the pic and literally just waved the head around in the washing up water = clean.

Do not buy
I am extremely disappointed with this Bosch stick blender. It came with a UK plug, which was inconvenient from the start, but the biggest issue is the quality. After only four uses, the plastic coupling that holds the blending shaft cracked, causing the attachment to fall out and making the blender unusable. I expected much better from Bosch, as the brand is known for reliability. A kitchen appliance should last for years, not just a handful of uses. This is the worst blender I have ever owned. I cannot recommend this product based on my experience.

Wrong plug
The product looked great; however, the plug is not suitable for use in Australia, therefore unusable
