Play-Doh Hasbro Vinci Anywhere Art Studio Playset

I bought a selection of play-doh doh Vinci products for my 7 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She has has hours of fun & made some quite nice things, some of which she has given as gifts. I would recommend this for children that are art & enjoy doing craft type activities.

Great price when on offer. Bought for my niece birthday and she enjoyed it. Extra pieces can get costly but she really enjoyed the creativity of it. Small and easy to store.

So im giving this a 4* purely because i cant commrnt on it as i havent played with it myself. I got a couple to give as presents, and wish i ordred more as its actuali quite big, it looks really good and actuali more value than what i paid for it.You cant go wrong with Doh Vinci for younger girls, my daughter has had various types before, and she got super excited when she saw this.

I think i have bought so many of Doh Vinci products im running out of how good they are my grandchildren are ages from 6yrs to 11yrs

my grandkids have a few of these products and love them... but then. They have changed the guns from having 2 "push rods"? to squeeze the doh out (one slightly longer than the other), to just having one longer one. The result is the younger 5/6 yr old eally struggles to squeeze the doh out, much less follow the patterns. The elder 8yr old struggles almost as much. They still like it but are spending less and less time trying to use it. We have 0ne gun left from previous kits which they try to share, but they are kids and waiting is not their forte. As an adult I can feel the difference between the old and new guns. Dont thinkI will be buying anymore of the doh vinci goods that require the use of the gun unless I can purchase the old guns. Pity as the kids loved this.

Brought this for a great place off amazon wouldn't of paid the price that other places were asking for it as not really worth itNot much doh in the little tubes so I would recommend you buy extra tubes .. my 8 year old has had fun with it so would recommend for any creative child

bought this as it was on offer as another little gift for my granddaughters 5th birthday. I'm very disappointed in this product - play doh are brilliant, my children and now their children have spent countless hours playing with play doh and I expected this to be of the same quality.The tubes fit into a gun (a bit like when you place mastic into a gun) you then squeeze it out to make pictures and this is where the fun stops. its incredibly hard to squeeze out and when you do it doesn't stay where you want it to so you have to touch it with your fingers to try and make a shape - MAJOR FAIL - you just end up in a sticky mess. The consistency is not like Play Doh it is way more sticky and you can't rub it off you need to wash your hands and even then some of the dye is left on your hands.. This was very cheap but even so, as its from Play doh I expected much more -Another point is the amount you use - we tried to make a flower and a 'P' shape for her name and went through nearly 2 tubes - this cannot be reused like play doh so although its cheap its not economical.I give it 1 star simply because my granddaughter loved the stickiness and even liked the fact it had turned her hands orange. I won't be buying any more refills. I did think that the Purple playset could then be used with crayons for her to rub over as the Playset has shapes and patterns indented in it. But all in all a total waste of money

Previously bought this set which was gifted and enjoyed by a 8 year old in the past, so I knew it would be ideal for a Xmas charity box for children that I put together. It's one of the easier sets from the Doh Vinci range and suitable for ages 6 - 12. Won't break the bank but will put a smile on a child's face for sure.
