There is so much to love about the builder gel. The way it handled was amazing, it was a silky smooth formula, it self leveled beautifully. I didn't have to file it into shape after curing because it sat exactly as I wanted it to.I also brought the top, base coat and three colours. In the time since I've used it I've not had a single chip or flake. The polish was thin but very pigmented meaning I could build layers without bulk!I can already tell its going to be a long lasting manicure and I'll be sticking with NYK1 for a long time.

Very good product, I highly recommend it. Easy to use, resistant. I did myself with the gel on the tips and I’m very satisfied with the result. Worth the price.

Love this, the most professional home manicure Ive been able to do. Lasts for 3 weeks min, but needs grinding or filing off, do not pick!! Only issue was the lid getting stuck so tight I thought I'd have to bin it. Tried putting in boiling water as a last resort and hey presto, I'm in. Be careful to wipe the seals before you close it up and keep it upright. Mine wasn't leakproof once opened, but the product itself is fabulous.

Great product so far, very impressed.Delivery was great, everything arrived on time and as expected. The package contains a pot of gel, brush and instruction booklet.On opening the pot of gel I was surprised at how thick the product is, although this isn’t a bad thing once you learn how to handle it. Up until now I’ve used CND Barisa and the consistency is very different. I found it was much easier to apply multiple (3+) very thin layers, than trying to ‘sculpt’ anything. Once on, there’s no creeping or bleeding into the cuticles which is great – it really gives you the time to work on your hand and get everything looking good before curing, therefore reducing time needed for filing etc. Being able to get such a close and fine layer of product near the cuticle without creating a mess everywhere is a bonus because it really helps to give a more natural finish. The brush that came with the gel is also really good.The one thing which did surprise me, was the first bead I tried to apply seemed to cure a little on the brush and became very lumpy, very quick. I was in a room where there was a bit of sunlight creeping in and I think this set the gel off which has never happened to me before. So definitely something to be very careful with – the instructions do mention staying away from windows and direct sources of light, so it’s up to the user to be aware. The product cured well, and so far I haven’t experienced any lifting – I’m only at day 2, however do find where products don’t suit me (professionally or personally applied), I get a lot of lifting very quick.I used a very mixed range of products (bonder, base coat, wipe-off solution) from various brands when applying the gel, and it seems to work well with everything.I’d definitely recommend this if you’re looking to try a cheaper (but just as good…and dare I say maybe better?!) product than the more notable brands, but for a much more manageable price. Looking forward to investing in some of the gel polishes next! :) Thank you.***Update: I've now used this gel twice, and still pretty chuffed! First time was for infills, where I felt more comfortable using multiple thin layers. I've also now done a full set of sculpted extensions, and once again, the product was so amazing and easy to use! I've attached a photo, but not sure it does justice to how well the gel looks when applied. It's worth noting, the photo is of my right hand and the gel was applied using my non-dominant hand - probably the best finish I've been able to achieve because of how workable the product is. The extensions are fairly long for me, and although I've snagged nails a couple of time (I'm not careful with my hands!), 6 days in and there's not a hint of lifting or cracking anywhere and they feel as strong as ever. Super impressed!

Hello, I wanted to find out why this product seems to set in its pot it seems... I have my own nail business and have been using all sorts of different gels, builder gel, hard gels acrylics etc over the years however, this gel has set in its pot whilst I was using it on a customer. Half of the pot is now set and can not be used anymore which is a shame as i have only just received it and am very happy with the actual product on my clients nails. It has only been opened a couple of days ago and it seems can no longer be used which is a shame and a unnecessary expense....What do you suggest? Again the product itself is great to work with and i was going to order more but i do not want it setting in its pot and waste all this gel and money away.

My last bottle of this -- which I bought in 2016 -- finally got too gloopy to use, so I would call this builder gel excellent value for money. It really does an amazing job on protecting the nails and letting them grow. I apply three thin coats, curing them for 1min each time under a LED lamp. Then I apply normal nail polish on top (not gel). That way, I can remove the polish with acetone free remover, buff the builder gel, and apply another coat when it grows out. I've had it on my nails for over a month now, having infilled twice, and my nails look amazing.It is very good at repairing broken nails: prepare the nail, use a small amount of builder gel and use the brush to really get the gel in and around the break. Cure for only 10secs. Put a silk strip over the break. Carefully add some more builder gel and work it gently into the silk, then smooth out along the whole nail. Cure for 1min. Do a couple more thin coats. Job done. I've had a break on my nail that has now grown out.It removes easily with gel remover -- I just use acetone on cotton wool and some of those clips that go over your nails, and it's off in 7-10mins. A lot easier and quicker than a full set of gels. Give your nails a good dose of nail oil, like CND Rx Rescue, and leave it a day or more if you can before applying again, applying the nail oil several times. Your nails will thank you.To be honest, even 15ml is a lot of gel -- I hadn't got to the bottom of my previous bottle when I had to get a replacement, and that was 5 years ago! But it's still great value. Just remember that you MUST keep it in a cool dark place (I keep it in a beauty box with all my other nail stuff). Replace the lid *immediately* after you've taken some gel onto the brush, EVERY time. You don't have to screw it closed, just put the lid on. Don't use this in bright sunlight, because it will harden. Obviously, keep the tub away from the light of your LED or UV lamp. Do this, and your gel will last a very long time.

I've tried a bunch of gels and I have found this one to be the best so far for DIY. Has lasted 2 weeks no lifting

Une semaine depuis ma première pause et un seul à due être refait. C'est due au travail manuel extérieur et à mon essaie pas rallonger cet ongle. Avec de la. Pratique ce sera parfait!
