The design looks simple, but it is obviously the product of a lot of thought and work. I am baffled by how perfectly this bread box works. It keeps fresh bread beautifully for days, and is surprisingly effective at maintaining the freshness of other baked goods like croissants and puffed pastry for an extra day. The box is very large, and that's a plus for me. It can store a large loaf of bakery bread plus a couple of bagels or other bakery items. And I love that the top is a cutting board with grooves in it to catch the crumbs. I had gotten used to constantly wiping up crumbs on my counter, but no more! If you have the space for it, I cannot recommend this highly enough!

I was on the hunt for a non toxic, large bread box. This one has exceeded my expectations! There is zero assembly, it comes ready to go. I wash the box with soapy water and just use a damp rag for the lid- I never use soap or submerge. It keeps my bread fresh. It’s massive, I fit two loaves of homemade bread in it with lots of room to spare. A bit spendy, but worth the price if you make homemade bread and a non toxic storage option.

Deceptively simple design - loaf bread stays fresh beyond what I’ve experienced with other bread storage. And the cutting board top is actually really helpful and I use it more than I thought I would.

I ordered the Large for my regular sized loaves of bread to allow plenty of room for air circulation and not wanting to cram my loaf of bread into a too-small space. So far, even in this airconditioned but extremely hot/humid outside environment, my bread has outlasted any previous bread. I used to put my bread in the refrigerator to help keep it from getting moldy but didn't like the way the bread tasted after refrigeration. It's a winner.

This is the perfect size for a couple loaves of bread. I use the top daily to cut my sourdough. The color is soothing. No too turquoise or teal, so it goes with my other accessories that are teal and grey. I love the size and seal. No strange smell. Exactly what I was looking for. It would also make a great storage option for small boxes of tea, sugar, honey, etc. My next one will neaten my coffee bar.

I was originally looking at this breadbox but decided on a similar one that was less expensive. The dimensions were exaggerated on the other one, and the sides tapered, so a whole boule would not fit flat. Also it felt more like plastic or even metal than bamboo fiber as described, so I returned it and splurged on this one. Great decision. It did have a slight manufacturing smell but washing in warm soapy water and air drying took care of that. I love that the lid fits into a slight recess instead of perching on top of the box, so it's easy to get it on securely. There is plenty of room inside for a whole sourdough boule and a batch of rolls or bagels. A plus is the included care instructions that include detailed info as well as a quick start guide.
