The essential oil is extracted through the process of steam distillation using the flowers. The oil is usually extracted from the flowers within 24 hours to achieve the optimum results. It has a fragrance that is similar to honey and is very fruity smelling with a slight earthy undertone.

Happy with my purchase from Naissance
I purchased Naissance Helichrysum Essential Oil together with Siberian Fir Needle Essential Oil and Cypress Essential Oil after reading an article that recommended blending these oils together with a carrier oil (I used Comfrey Oil) to help with the healing of broken bones. I applied this blend of oils 2 to 3 times a day to my recently fractured Shoulder and upper Arm. The smell was reminiscent of freshly cut pine or conifer trees. I don't know if this Oil blend has helped to repair my broken bones but a follow up appointment at the hospital shows that my bones are healing well. This injury was supported by a sling and no plaster cast which allowed me to apply the oils.The Helichrysum Oil was the most expensive of the three oils but it appears that this type of oil is pricey wherever you buy it.I needed to contact Naissance to inform them that one of the oils was missing from my delivery. They immediately replied and posted out the missing item to fulfill my order. I have been satisfied with the products and the cooperation with Naissance and would order products from them again.
