NassifMD Purifying Scalp Detox Exfoliant Hair & Scalp Cleansing Scrub

Every winter I get a dry flaky scalp and this product works wonders! Highly recommend!

This hair and scalp cleansing scrub has a peppermint scent that I really like. It is thick and smooth with a smaller amount of grit/physical exfoliants (the salt, maybe?) than I expected. Its texture reminds me of pudding. It feels creamy and moisturizing when applying it, and it lathers some but not a lot. It's not like a typical shampoo where you can easily distribute it all over your hair after putting it in one spot. It is thick, and it mostly just stays in the area where you put it. I had to put dabs of it all over my head. It rinsed clean and left my hair feeling very soft. My scalp is extremely dry at the moment due to cold weather. I didn't notice a big change after using this scrub, but it was about as good as it ever gets during this time of year. It wasn't a miracle cure for me, but it certainly didn't exacerbate anything. It was on par with other healing shampoos I use that work pretty well.

Myself and my daughters all have flaky scalps. In the winter it seems to get worse. I tried this product and was pleasantly surprised with it. It is a thick goop but with salt maybe in it to be abrasive on the scalp. The smell is yummy. It is expensive and I’m not sure if I will be getting again because of cost alone. But it applies well and you can feel it scrubbing your scalp for you but not in a painful way. I use it in place is shampoo and it rinses out completely which is a huge plus for me and my long hair. I notice less flaking and feels less buildup on my scalp. I use it nonce a week and it seems to be a good duration to stick with.

I really wanted to like this scalp cleanser but struggled to get there. I like that this comes in a jar for easy scooping product out. The product itself is semi thick for application, but found it lacked the granulate to be bad. I was not able to properly cleanse the scalp as I would have liked and this foamed up to much like shampoo . I did like the peppermint scent that made me feel like it was doing good job.

I've never used a scalp scrub like this one before - all of the others I've ever used have been overly grainy and I haven't felt like they've really done anything to fully cleanse or exfoliate my head since it just feels like the granules get stuck in my hair. This scrub is such a luxurious change. The consistency is more whipped, but still with exfoliating granules in it, so I really feel like it's getting through my hair to my scalp to scrub as well as to cleanse. The peppermint smell is really light and nice and makes me feel like I'm at a spa. I also really love the way it feels on my head when I massage my scalp as instructed.I haven't noticed anything along the lines of new hair growth or my hair looking fuller after using yet (and my hair is thin so I would notice), but I've only been using it once a week for about two or three weeks so I'm hopeful that it will help in that regard. I also think it's a bit pricey for what you get, but I'm going to see how long it actually lasts before making that claim. Overall very satisfied!

I'm not sure what they did to make this scrub what it is, but I love it. Other scrubs have felt grainy and leave little granules in my hair that are impossible to rinse out...I'll feel them later in the day and get annoyed. This scrub is lovely- I haven't found any surprises later! It's a buttery whipped consistency that makes it easier to spread into your scalp and scrub away.My scalp has been dry and itchy with the cold months settling in, and this really helped to soothe that. The smell is divine- it's a light peppermint smell- it's pleasant, not pungent. It leaves my head feeling clean and cool after I've used it and rinsed.My daughter has a flaky scalp, and she has been using this 2x a week for about a month now, and I have noticed she has little to no flakes after consistent use. I totally recommend this to anyone that wants to remove product build up, has an itchy/dry scalp, or just wants to do a deep clean for themselves.

Great scalp exfoliating and cleansing scrub. My mother is obsessed with these types of scrubs and she said this is one of the best ones that she has used! Leaves her scalp feeling clean and doesn't coat her hair in residue.

This scalp scrub feels really good on my dry scalp. I was expecting this product to be dense and heavy, but it is actually very light and fluffy like whipped cream with texture. The smell is amazing. I generally hate the smell of minty products aside from toothpaste, but this minty smell reminds me of mint chip ice cream, which I loved as a kid. It doesn't smell like weird chemicals and if I didn't know any better, I'd probably try to eat it based on how yummy it smells.My scalp felt extremely clean and rejuvenated after one use. It gives off a kind of cool sensation afterward, which is nice because it helps to sooth my itchy scalp. The scent doesn't last, which is nice because I am a bit sensitive to smells, no matter how good that smell is.The only other notable thing is that I ended up using more of the product than I thought I would need because I couldn't cover my entire scalp with the amount I had in mind. My above average head size combined with thick hair was likely the culprit, but it may be helpful to know that you may end up using this up a little bit faster than you anticipated.
