These calf supports are worth every nickel. I needed this for a varicose vein in my inner calf on left leg and it covers it and adds support and compression perfectly . Until i get my surgery date these will do the job . I must say do the measurement of your calf at thickest point and follow the sizing chart and you will be happy .

Fijne kuitbrace : aanschaf in verband met blessure
Omdat ik een blessure aan mijn kuit heb opgelopen, had ik (telefonisch) contact met een arts. Alle zaken doorgesproken en het advies opgevolgd om, in eerste instantie, drukverband te gaan gebruiken. Toen ik dat een dag had gedaan, ben ik wat verder gaan zoeken in verband met andere (praktische) mogelijkheden. Zodoende kwam ik bij Amazon terecht en zag ik deze kuitbrace/compressiebrace : na een zogenaamde dubbelcheck gekozen voor maat L , die ik binnen 3 werkdagen als brievenbus-pakket heb ontvangen. Direct van de brace gebruik gemaakt en ruim 1,5 week dag en nacht om gehad (bij douchen NIET gebruiken) om het herstel zodoende te bevorderen. De brace sluit goed om de kuit, gaf tevens ook de juiste steun en ook was de blessure hierdoor toch wat minder pijnlijk. Mijn blessure kuit was, wat ik direct gemeten had, zeker 2 centimeter meer dan de de andere. Na zo'n 3-4 dagen was dat nog maar 1 centimeter verschil. De brace nam ook de vorm van de kuit aan en na dus 1,5 week is er een omtrek verschil, van de brace zelf dan, aan één zijde en andere zijde, van 3 centimeter: dus de rand bij de kuit en de rand (bijna) bij de enkel. Voor mij zelf vind ik dat dat betekent, dat de brace het juiste effect heeft gegeven door de elasticiteit. Inmiddels ben ik een beetje uit aan het testen, hoe het nu gaat als ik geen brace om doe en de kuit / het been dus minder belast. Tot nu toe gaat dat ook goed. Maar als ik wat meer zou opbouwen, kleine dingen in huis doen of even boodschappen op de fiets, ga ik de brace wel opnieuw om doen: al is het maar voor de stevigheid / zekerheid. Ik wil de zaken namelijk niet forceren, zodoende. Als ik het lopen wat meer ga opbouwen, dus buitenshuis, ga ik de brace ook gebruiken: en kijken hoe het verloop van het herstel gaat. Prijs/kwaliteit : ik zag op internet goedkope en dure versies van vergelijkbare braces, maar de aanschaf van deze inclusief bezorging zijn zeker de moeite waard geweest ! En hopelijk herstelt de blessure, letterlijk stap voor stap, binnen de aangegeven 2 -12 weken : waarbij de brace ook een steun was.
