I love waffles. My wife is the true genius in the kitchen when it comes to her delicious pancakes and other tasty treats. I've been wanting waffles for breakfast for a long time and so my wife eventually suggested that I get a waffle maker and she would put her talents to good use by mixing us up some batter. I decided on this particular make and model of the VonShef after reading copious reviews. It arrived quickly. The very next day, in fact, thanks to Amazon Prime. But we waited for the weekend to use it for the first time. As it turns out, it was the May Bank Holiday Friday, coinciding with VE Day. My wife mixed up a batch of batter from a recipe for waffles on the BBC GoodFood website and we had delicious golden waffles in about half an hour. They were scrumptious!The waffle maker is good value for the money. It is easy to use. It is also easy to clean, as long as you avoid any over-spill, which is more difficult to get out of the crevices. Just be careful not to overfill the plates with the batter. A little goes a long way.My wife did say that the plates could have been slightly deeper to stop any leakage, but she is still very happy with the performance of the waffle maker.

Easy to use, makes nice waffles - i've worked out they take around 6mins. Pretty good value for the price.

Bought this for my daughter who is crazy about waffles. Excellent little machine, makes nice big waffles and versatile. Gets very hot and makes the perfect tasting waffles. Only problem I came across is when cooking, there is quite a bit of condensation which leaks out the sides once top is closed, so I place kitchen roll underneath it. Other than that, fab machine.

This is the first waffle maker that we have owned. I did quite a bit of research before deciding on this model and we have not been disappointed with my choice. It is easy to use and clean and most importantly it produces two good sized waffles. Make sure that you follow the simple instructions and you cannot go wrong. In paricular, make sure to have a dry run before intoducing your waffle mix in order to burn off the 'newness' of the plates. It does smoke when you do this but this is nothing to be concerned about. Equally as important, do oil the plates before use and do not be tempted to overfill the plates as you will have do some extra cleaning. Recommended

Followed all the instructions enclosed and after about 6 uses it’s in the bin! The food was sticking, it’s hard to clean and is now completely unhygienic & dangerous. I tried to contact the seller but Amazon’s system wouldn’t let me contact the seller to let them know - I wasn’t after anything. I just wanted to let them know. I’m on the hunt for a better one.

Does the job very well. Waffles do not stick, although I do slightly spray the waffle maker with oil before pouring the batter in. They come out nice am golden. No temp control function on this one. As a general rule I take my waffles out when the steam stops coming out. Overall very happy with my purchase :)

This walfle maker cookies every waffle perfectly it's very quick , heats to the correct temperature fast , the waffle don't stick to the surface the outside of the waffle maker dose not get hot so it perfectly safe to use . Overall amazing buy and definitely worth the price .
