I read this book in 2 hours. 2 hours. I couldn’t put it down. To say I am totally addicted and obsessed with this mafia world would be an understatement.The FMC Isabella is every young girl who had her first crush and wished she could grow up and live happily ever after. So when she ends up marrying that crush she can’t believe on paper her dream has become a reality.The reality is that her new husband the MMC Luca can’t see past the age gap and he’s trying to respect that she is so much younger than him and has known her since she was a child.Too bad Isabella knows what she wants, she won’t stop until she’s driven him mad.I love these books, I love the characters and the ease I can fall into these stories.I didn’t think I was ready for a big series and yet onto book 5 I go 🤣5⭐️3🌶️

Not bad. A lot of repetition. But still a good reed. I've read quite a few of the books now. The story line was an amazing idea.

This has quickly become one of my very favourite Mafia series!The wold Eva Altaj has written is just pure chef's kiss. 😘It has everything I'm looking for, a fantastic writing style, well developed characters and a great representation of characters having some sort of issue, be it permanent or just for parts of the book.I can not put these books down!And this is the 2nd time I'm re-reading the entire series from start to finish.

I have enjoyed reading this series of books but this one although good and a lovely story of Luca and Isa, there was too much controlling behaviour and sexual scenes which are a little unrealistic in the real world. There are certain scenes that ruined the book for me which is why I can only give 3 stars. The story started off really well, but then it just became about sex and having to touch Isa in a private place so she slept, just spoilt it for me.

Absolutely enjoyed Luca and Isabella's story. Isabella is the perfect Don's wife - clever and so in love with her older husband. Loved how she proved herself and the twists and turns in their love story. Great read!

After reading the first few books in this series , I was enjoying the bratva side of the mafia world. I wasn't sure how I would enjoy suddenly jumping over to the cisa nostra side, but this book didn't disappoint. Luca and isabella's story is one of a long term love affair, all be it was one sided. Isa fell in love with luca when he saved her as a child. That love blossomed until it almost breaks her. The dying wishes of the Don give her something to fight for, but when she fears hope is lost in her marriage, an accident brings her strengths to the forefront and luca starts to see his wife in a different light. Great read.

Character's strong men and even stronger women have neglected my housework (good job it's clean) once you start reading these books you get so involved in them you just want to know what's going to happen next the story draws you in to the point were you want the best for them

IMO this is the best in the seriesI deeply love the first one but it was imperfect like most first novel I guessThis one reached another level, I think it's mainly due to the fact that the female character is active. She takes part in the mafia business and really helped the MC. She is not a trophy wife like the other could appeared.Of course the steam between those two is amazing and completely kinkyNormally I am not a huge fan of age gap (like the whole student/teacher thing), it never works for me, but in this book it was ok.Can't wait for the other books!!
