Original tuners on the Jonny Brooks stratocaster were not that well made but these were smooth in operation and well made. A worthwhile upgrade.

The stock tuners on my Frazley Strat were pretty shoddy - no great surprise as the guitar cost less than £80 brand new, but I needed to swap them out for something that would do the trick without costing a fortune. Step forward the Wilkinson EZ-Lok tuners. Reasonable price, piece of cake to set up and the tuning experience is what I was looking for. Highly recommended.

Not a true locking tuner in the sense of the word, but presently surprised, no need for the clumpy locking dial on the side of the headstock, simplistic 2 holes in the tuning peg so locks the string on its self, E,A,D, go through the top and then through the bottom hole , G,B and E bottom and then through the top.Like I said simple but really effective.

Bought these as an upgrade for a squier bullet strat and they are a real improvement.The guitar holds tuning alot better as well as being easier to tune and more accurate.Fitting them was easy too but I did have to use a taper reamer to enlarge the holes on both sides. The old screw holes are usable but as you can see in the pictures, the tuners are at a slanted angle but doesn't really bother me on a £100 guitar.These are good quality and a great upgrade on the original tuners.

Wilkinson hardware is the best bang for your buck in any price bracket. The branding on the pickup covers can be a little too much when building project guitars but that is easily and relatively cheaply rectified. I don’t have that problem with the machine heads and I love them.

Decent quality machine heads. I replaced the very poor quality machine heads on my new Fender Stratacoustic with these - they are much better quality and the twin holes helped to line the strings up with the two string guides on the Stratacoustic. When I fitted these I also fitted new strings - I've found that after playing the guitar a couple of times it is holding it's tune a lot better.

I daresay you can get better, more accurate tuners than these, but I think they are a perfect fit for me.They are well made, look great, no play in the gears, and the two holes in the spindles are a brilliant if simple idea, really holding the tuning spot on, I will definitely buy more of these for future projects. Great value !

I bought these to put on my secondhand cheap ibanez gio. Just because I fancied changing the hardware to chrome instead of black. I have to admit, I was expecting some really bad tuners but they are actually better than the ones that were on the guitar already.
