Filofax023621 A5 Clipbook - Duck Egg

This was bought for a colleague as a leaving gift as they were off to study at university. It was an ideal gift and will be versatile as you can add and remove sections.

I've only had this a few days, but I already love it. It's going to be the perfect replacement for my copious, disorganised notebooks. I love the Filofax inserts with useful monthly planners and to-do lists. I've already added some extras, which I just know will work for me. The only reason this is 4 stars rather than 5 is that it's not that easy to close the rings without the risk of catching your fingers when the folder is full. Apart from that, I love it. I might even get a second one!

I liked mine so much, I also bought one for my partner.I'm using notebooks for 3 different tasks - calendar stuff, jotting down thoughts and planning out projects. As such, I need a notebook that can multitask. As the Clipbook is based on a 6-hole ringbinder, I can reorder pages as required, allowing me to just jot down stuff and then later decide a section for it to fit into. I repurposed dividers from an old Rhodia notebook and now have sections for different projects etc. I think filofax offers those too, but with an appropriate hole punch, you can really fashion anything you want.I tried a couple of different hole punches for this and the best one I found is this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001GR6BCM/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1Overall, size, quality and look are great and with a few hacks, I build my perfect notebook for a very small price compared to some of the more upper tier filofaxxes.

Love this note book. It's so versatile and such a good size for throwing in my bag, it comes with me almost everywhere. Because you can add pages as and when you want it's so easy to personalise. I've colour coded my sections and added laminated section dividers, which I've then added photos to. It folds back on itself too which makes it easy to write on in the tightest of spots.I don't why I waited so long to buy one. Very happy.For perfection though, maybe an elastic closure would help keep it neat when in my bag.

Love this clipbook. Spent so long looking for something I could use as a diary, planner, notebook etc and this does the job perfectly. Loads of inserts available. Can be tricky to open, but pull on the covers rather than the rings and it's fine. Also don't bother buying the 6 hole punch, just take the cover off your regular hole punch, place a pre punched paper on top of the one you want to punch, mark a dot and punch your holes one at a time. Sounds time consuming but it's not!

This provided me with a 'cover' to fill with what I wanted so that I could use one diary/notebook for meetings etc. and not have a notebook for individual meetings.A pity filofax don't do more flexible diaries and notebook pages to go in it. I had to find another supplier for the contents.
