Reliable anti splatter microwave cover
I have bought two of these basic, good value microwave covers. I melted the first one by leaving it in the oven by mistake! It was easier to buy one from Amazon than to go to Ikea. No frills and it does the job.

Good Value
This is strong and sturdy and wide and high enough to cover most dishes, without being too big for my small microwave.I have not had to clean any spills since using using it, works much better than cling film.A good value product and a must in a modern day kitchen.

I received the blue one
Picture is a confusing showing two different products,I received the blue one. Works well helps to keeps the microwave clean from hot splashing food and good littel vents to let steam escape. Can be lifted one handed but a bit tricky and some one with small hands will struggle.Easy to clean and pretty sturdy. Good quality, Good purchase

Under the dome!A great little splatter sheld for anything your cooking in the microwave, also helps retain moisture in your food, bought one of these as my parents always used one in their microwave to stop splattering and after i overcooked some curries the microwave and spent hours cleaning the thing i decided that this cheap and cheerful invention was worth the future effort of only having to clean the cover.This is a 100% unbiased review sellers never provide me with free items to review or try!

Perfect size for small microwave!
I don't know how people manage to melt their microwave food covers. It is a microwave cooker not a regular oven. Don't put things in there for like 20 minutes!Very sturdy plastic, perfect size, covering a decent dinner plate size. We use the microwave primarily for reheating and defrosting. Not for cooking a meal. So I don't think I can melt this even if I wanted to.

Better than kitchen towel
Finally! Something to stop my microwave getting splattered with all sorts of...food! I used to use kitchen towel to cover my food, but it would still get a bit messy.The only niggle I have is that when the food is being heated for quite a few minutes (depending on the food) a lot of condensation can collect in the lid, so be careful when lifting it off your food that you don't get the water landing in your plate!Perhaps a few more ventilation holes could have been added around the sides?
