I love how this primer feels on my skin. It goes on incredibly smooth and leaves my face feeling silky without feeling heavy or greasy. My makeup applies beautifully over it. I've worn my makeup over this for a full day, and it really does help it stay put. By the end of the day, my makeup still looks good, which is exactly what I want from a primer. I've tried plenty of primers where I couldn't tell if they were actually doing anything, but I can see the difference with this one. My only hesitation is the price. It's a pretty small tube for what you pay, although thankfully it doesn't take much product to cover my face. It's an excellent primer and I love the way my skin and makeup look when I use it. I just wish that little tube didn't cost quite so much!

This is the gold-standard for makeup primers. It glazes over pores and helps even out texture. It also keeps makeup in place through pretty much anything without melting or pilling. I think that the key is to apply a very thin layer of the primer and immediately put makeup on after. In my experience if this primer is left on the face too long before makeup is applied it the results aren’t as natural looking. Also, this is good for skin types. I’ve gone through oily, combo and dry skin with this primer and it’s worked on all of them .

I will conclusively submit with pleasure that this product delivers exactly what it promises. Bonus: It is either unscented or has a scent so mild that I don't remember noticing any scent. This product is a facial/eye primer with a blurring effect. It does exactly that, feels beautiful, and has a luxurious, silky textures that melts onto your skin. It can be used alone in my opinion, but also is the promised excellent primer to use before applying foundation. It gives a nice smooth blurred base that allows you to apply foundation smoothly and evenly. This is quite different than using a moisturizer only. It is a bit pricey, but the result is well worth it, and I no longer have to keep trying other products that I am not happy with. I am very particular about my skincare, and I fully endorse this product. To be more helpful, I will tell you that I am 68 years old with fair combination skin, and a couple of areas of discoloration spots. I don't have any acne-related issues, so I can't speak to that. I'm letting you know my personal "skin story" to help you compare and decide if this product might be good for you too.

I have used smashbox for a while now and I always come back to try new/improved products. I am happy to say this is a great addition to my make-up routine. 1. goes on smooth and easily 2. has great coverage for a long time 3. makes a great base for my other makeup and blends well 4. keeps my face in full effect for a long time and does not sweat off very easily. I love this and all my Smashbox products, I am so glad I got the bigger size since it is my go to for many occasions

It helps blur pores

LOVE this product. My CC cream is great but leaves my face shiny. Putting this on gives my makeup a good base, leaving it not shiny and also my makeup goes on way smoother. Will continue to repurchase.

First of all, the price for this tiny tube of gel in incredible. Very overpriced in my opinion. It does the job of smoothing out the skin but since it is so small of an amount, I can only use it for my undereyes and eyelids to make my makeup go on easier. I will be going back to the sellers that have a larger tube because this one is too expensive to use everyday.

I am not great at doing my own makeup but this product definitely is a game changer. I do not wear makeup often so the small size of a tube is not an issue for me. Love how soft and luxurious my skin feels when i put this primer on.
