Ice pack and it works great as long as the cans or bottles aren’t room temperature. I put the whole unzipped RTIC cooler in the frig overnight then added cold bottles of water and soda for a long hot day at the rifle range and everything stayed cold for 6 hours. **Q: Can you freeze the coolerI by itself?** A: I do not recommend that, just place ice pack in it more than sufficient. **Q: Does it sweat?
