Japanese Woodblock Print enthusiast must-have for children
Excellent value for money; very good quality paper so need to make sure colouring materials are reasonable quality too!Lovely images have been selected, an ideal introduction to the Pictures/Images of a Floating World ('Ukiyo-e') for kids.I liked the first one I ordered so much that I immediately ordered another half dozen.You won't be disappointed; HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Very nice book.
This book is nicely put together. The patterns are simplistic yet pleasant to look at. There are 30 pages to colour with quotes from famous people printed on the opposing pages. Japanese quotes would have been more appropriate but this doesn't take away from the quality of this book. The paper is thick and feels like good quality.

Nice for the price. But could be a little better.
Paper quality is good for colouring. Designs are nice but a little simple. There are quotes throughout the book by various different celebrities. These seemed pretty out of place and didn't really fit the Japanese theme or have any relevance to the images the accompanied.

Do NOT buy if you use pens, inks or any other liquid type colouring
Nice looking book. Great pictures. Probably excellent for pencils or crayons but absolutely terrible if you use brush pens or art pens or any othe liquid art medium. The ink soaks through as soon as you touch the pen to the page and spreads out. It is only marginally less absorbent than blotting paper. I had expected that by purchasing a more expensive book, particularly one where the description claimed it was “perfect for all colouring mediums” (I have just screenshotted the description to be sure I remembered it correctly), I wouldn’t have this problem. Complete waste of my money & time. That’s why only 3 stars.

Beautiful for colouring.
Purchased for a friend who loves Japanese drawings and had a peep before wrapping up. The pictures are stunning and I can see him really enjoying using this. The quality is fantastic for the price, absolute bargain.
