This is the easiest and widest version I could find while also being the smallest to store.I looked at every version I could find on Amazon and this was the best. (Even looked through gold panning and jewelry sorting versions)I've used the 2mm & 3mm to sift wheat for planting the larger seeds, also to remove dirt from any threshing.The 12mm works for the largest seeds I have: Favas, so I'd highly recommend for anyone sorting seeds for planting, cover crops, or sorting through broken seeds/debris during threshing.

Simple but efficient design. Be careful with the smallest screen as mine has a small tare. Use to separate and guage small gravel and remove rocks from my potting soil. The hand troul is garbage, bending almost immediately and very uncomfortable in the hand. However the toul is not the focus of the product, just lagniappe. Okay buy, wish there where replacement screens for sale.

Folks, why did I spend so much more for 8 screens, rather than 3 or 4 screens? TO GET DIFFERENT SIZES.Accurately describing what you're selling is a foundation of trust and reliability. It's missing with this item and this seller.In addition to the failure to provide what was stated, there is an engineering problem. The larger opening sized screens (especially 10 and 13mm) are made with wire that is too thin to hold up to dirt containing rock larger than the opening size. Heavier weight wire should be used as the opening size increases. So the sturdiness is questionable. Also, in the two larger sizes, the openings vary by about 1mm.Don't buy this poorly engineered shuck and jive.

The sieve seems well made, but did not receive the advertised hand spade and no way to contact seller.
