RockStand 7 Guitar Rack Stand
D**R
Overpriced and not for all.
After settling on Quik-Lok stands after much trial and error, the need to place seven of my guitars in a new cabinet had me looking for a new stand. My Quik-Lok 7 was way too big, but after much discussions with my cabinet maker, I settled on this stand, largely on its ideal size, rather than the strength of reviews.Likes: It is the right size for my cabinet. It is simple to build. That's just about it.Dislikes: You can get stands for far less money and the same quality. This is the most basic of stand designs, with simple closed-cell foam rubber-padded twin rails at the bottom and foam-covered spigots to support the neck at the top. Now there's nothing wrong with this design, if you don't mind cheap-n-cheerful, but at £45, it is hardly cheap.Additionally, one of the reasons I bought it - its compact size - might be a reason not to buy. Whilst my Quik-Loks have plenty of space between guitars, with cradles designed to secure both acoustic guitars and electrics, the combination of much-reduced space between guitars, with with no guitar segregation means that every time you move a guitar you risk contact with another. No problem for a £120 epoxy resin-coated Affinity Squier, but not great for your beloved Gibson Les Paul Custom. Sure, for my purposes, it is a compromise with which I decided to live, but if you don't have a tight space, you should go for a wider stand and, if you can spring for it, one with better guitar segregation. My one also appeared to be an old package, with some minor fractures in the plastic trim, but to be frank I wasn't going to go through the hassle of returning this, especially given return postage costs to Germany. To be frank, if it wasn't for my specific size needs, I'd wonder if I'd ever buy this stand. Especially at its inflated price (you can get similar for under £30). Therefore, two not-worth-buying stars.

stand up
Its a great rack for the money and has certainly freed up some floor space in my studio. Like other comments though, you will not fit 7 acoustic guitars on it (probably 4) but I have managed a bass guitar, electric guitar, thin bodied electro classical guitar, thin bodied electro acoustic guitar and a full depth acoustic guitar. I could probably squeeze another electric or bass in there if needed. Easy to assemble but poor welding meant one nut/bolt would not line up to a flange-its still solid though without these. All in all its a lot cheaper and tidier than buying several racks for your guitars.

holds 7 guitars easily ,compact size good buy
be careful when putting it together as I had to force a couple of bolts in,, screw them in slowly carefully, overall pleased with the stand.

Great bit of kit
Perfect. Easy to put together and sturdy. I keep four electric, a bass and an acoustic on the stand and am very pleased with it.You cant go wrong. I'm a pro musician and have seen a lot of rubbish out there and this isn't one of them.MS

Sturdy and affordable
The assembly took me about 30 mins and was straight forward. The stand is good quality, sturdy and well padded and seems universal.I have a Les Paul shape and strat shape that both fit comfortably into the stand.A good buy for the price.

guitar stand for 7 guitars
Seems a bit lousy and insubstantial when you're building it, but once it's in place and has the weight of some guitars on it, it sits just fine. Before this my guitars were on the floor, so this is a great improvement.

Great value and service
For the price a fabulous product. Easy to put together even for a DIY failure like me. Light and strong - a very good buy.

You won't get seven acoustic on it
Great product for the money. A bit on the flimsy side so I can't really seeing it being anything other than broken were it taken on the road. For me, problem solved, love it.
