JETech Case for iPad Air 2 (Not for iPad Air 1st Edition), Smart Cover Auto Wake/Sleep (Black)

I purchased this to offer some protection for my iPad Air 2 when I take it away on holiday. The case will do exactly that, protects the screen and the back of the device from everyday scuffs and potential scratches.If you are in the habit of dropping your expensive apple kit onto hard surfaces from a great height you may well be best served looking for a more rugged solution, although the trade off is more weight and bulk and they generally look soo ugly. For me though this fits the bill perfectly, it adds minimum bulk while still providing front and back protection for the careful owner.I bought this model because I own an Air 2, NOT an iPad Air, Air Pro or any previous iPad incarnation. I do not understand why people expect this to fit anything other than the Air 2 when the other models are either thicker or thinner than the Air 2.It does everything it says it does, wakes up the iPad when you open the cover, puts it to sleep when you close it. All the cut outs for camera, volume buttons, power button, speakers etc are perfectly positioned. The front folds to allow for a kickstand when viewing the device on a flat surface, or holds the device upright, (slightly angled backwards) if you want to watch a video, on the plane for instance.The Air 2 fits perfectly into the back section of the case and is held securely with no issues that a couple of other reviewers have reported where the device will not stay clipped in. Having said that when I first put the Air 2 into the back section, the natural thought was to put the right hand side in first, the side with the volume buttons, and I too had a problem with one of the left corners not clipping in properly. TIP: Put the left hand side in first, then gently push down working from left to right taking care of the volume buttons on the right hand side and voila one perfectly secured device on all corners with no hint of it popping out. This method worked for me anyway.As for longevity of the product it is too early to say, but for the price I paid the quality of the product far exceeded my expectations. I suppose that if you are in the habit of removing the device on a regular basis then over time you may get issues with stress fractures at the corners as some reviewers have reported, but that would be true for any case you purchase. I bought the case to protect my device so it stays in there so I don't see any issues on that front. At the end of the day if it lasts 6 months, 12 months or whatever, I can buy 7 of these for the frankly ludicrous price being asked for, for the official apple product, and would have no hesitation in doing so.p.s. If this review sounds like I either work for the seller, I don't, or I was sent it free for a review, I wasn't, this is just my honest review and I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Brilliant product, quite why anyone would buy the Apple equivalent is beyond me. Fits my iPad air2 perfectly and operates as the Apple version. At £8.99 it’s great value for money. Makes you realise what the mark up Apple are making by charging upwards of 10X as much for fundamentally the same thing. Maybe this JETech might not last as long, but the differential between price and quality is a no brainer. I had an Authentic Apple Smart Cover £29 in grey, whose edges were fraying at the edges after three years use. This JETech is the identical colour but gives “complete” protection for only,I say again only £8.99 Don’t hesitate fellow buyer it won’t disappoint.

This is my third iPad case from this manufacturer and I’ve used them for various versions of iPads. It provides great protection at a sensible price point.

Great cover, prime so delivered quickly. Couldn’t ask for more

I purchased two of these covers, one in red and the other in black. One for me and one for my wife (guess who had the red one??). Over the years I have spent a tidy sum on covers of various kinds and non of them really stood the test of time. That does not mean that we are heavy users, or neglect our equipment.On this occasion I was looking for a cheaper option when I spotted the JeTech. I purchased on the strength of the Amazon reviews and the price. Its only been a matter of days since I fitted them, so its much too soon to comment about their longevity, but first impressions are very positive. The shell is robust and has a nice tactile finish and feel to it. Furthermore it is light and provides all round protection, including the Ipad corners, which are often the most vunerable. The material appears to be a mix of polyurethane and polycarbonate, which should provide adequate protection against the bumps and knocks of daily use. The drop test is another matter and not something that I intend to try for this review. If it happens by accident at some point I will let you know how I got on.The IPad fits comfortably and snugly into the case making for a perfect fit, with all of the function buttons visible and easily accessible. The wake function operates as it should when the case lid is lifted.Its early days but I can only report positives at this time. If you are looking for a great value, good looking, lighweight, and robust case, this is definitely one to consider.

This case is everything I would want from an iPad, and i would have been happy with my purchase if this had cost me £30 from the apple store. However, since it cost a fraction of that, it is undoubtedly, in my opinion, the best case out there you could get for an iPad Air 2.Obviously, one of the main pros of this case is the great value for money. Beyond that, it fit perfectly (no looseness, no slightly misaligned holes etc). The materials used are perfectly fine, after a couple of weeks there's no signs of fraying, tearing or weakness along the folds as I have found on other similarly priced cases. Furthermore, the case is light and thin, despite having a hard back, and so it doesnt really make any impact whatsoever on the mobility of the iPad.On the other hand, I have noticed that the material marks fairly easily, particularly by liquids. This is not particularly important, however, as a quick wipe with a damp cloth cleared them off. I also sometimes find that the folds could have a little more strength in them, but once again this isn't all that important as they function perfectly fine, even in the most upright position when there is the most leverage on them.I would certainly recommend this case to anyone considering protection for their tablet, and I will be using this brand again in the fuuture
