Recommend; Would buy it again, but some issues could be improved.
The spray certainly calms and numbs burning itching, but it did not cure my condition.I'm not sure that extended use wouldn't cause rebound dermatitis either.I find the standard pump spray bottle works great - if the bottle is kept perfectly level.With the angles involved in spraying your bum and perineum while you are squatting (standing or almost sitting), it is very hard to blindly aim the spray at the correct area. With the angle you need to hold the bottle in your hand and in order to aim it, the pump runs dry after 2-3 sprays.This results in the user having to make numerous sprays to try and hit all the sore spots, resulting in the spray starting to run or drip off your skin requiring some clean up.I would recommend this.

this worked alright, but I had to constantly apply it. I found the most relief by using Gold bond medicated lotion on my external itch, it corrects the problem instantly from 1 hour to all day relief. Try it. but only for external anal itch. For on the go I just put some in a small travel bottle and put it in my pocket (usually the $1 bottle of hand lotion you get from the store, just emptied out and replaced with Gold Bond lotion). This method has saved my social life and returned me to almost completely normal lifestyle.

Personally I recommend that if you have this problem you go to ...
it's ok, but not that effective. Personally I recommend that if you have this problem you go to a compound pharmacy and get a creme that uses, Lidocane 10%, flurbiprofen 2%, Tramadol 5%, that pretty much got rid of my problem and from the first day it provided me with 24 hrs relief before needing to reapply.

Don't waste your time or money
For the hype in its advertisement, one would have thought it would do as it specified. IT DIDN'T!!!! I used the product as the direction stated and felt relief from itching for about 5 minutes. Not only was it difficult to apply with the spray bottle but it was messy too. I would definitely NOT recommend this product especially at the price it was advertised. I found an OTC product at Wal Mart for half the price. After using fire in the hole for over two weeks with no signs of relief or healing, the OTC product gave me relief within 2 days and was completely healed within the week. My advice for this product....not just no but HELL NO!! Don't waste your time and especially your money.

OK, but I found something better
I found that "Anti Monkey Butt Powder" was more effective for my ... problem. Maybe it is because of the calomine that is in AMBP.

Best product ever - this works!
Best product I have tried that helps soothe my anal itching and hemorrhoid pain. When I applied to area I felt instant relief! I have dealt with constant itching and burning which has made me just miserable. Many of the other products I have tried just do not have the same lasting effect of relief. I am so happy to have found this product that helps me feel normal again. I feel so much better. I highly recommend this product!

good but not best
The relief spray worked pretty well but did not relieve as well as hydrocortisone cream. I am still comparing other products.
