This little light arrived only about 18 hours after placing the order. It is perfect for the job it has been designed for. As I received it at lunchtime, I went into the darkest room in the house to test it, needless to say it worked perfectly. The effect it provides creates for the user a small cocooned area of bright light, so creating a real sense of cosiness whilst giving a lovely light just perfect for reading. Far better than illuminating a whole room with a bigger light which normally upsets others sharing the space.

I love reading in a cosy intimate room and in my bed and I have a kindle but sometimes a friend will lend me a book or I’ll buy one. The lamp does the job.... but I must admit that when the battery is brand new the light is very bright and may bother your partner who tries to sleep nearby (you can’t soften the light as with a kindle) and if you are a big reader the battery fades quickly (after a week of daily use).

I have used other types before but this one betters it 100%. How I ever went without a proper book light one wonders. I am also using it with my paintings and adult colouring books.

Very disappointed with this product. Yes the light is bright but already the batteries have gone and it was only purchased approximately 6 weeks ago and only used for 30 minutes at the most. The lamp doesn’t hold on the book pages. It regularly falls off. I’m not really sure how it won the best gift award which is part of the reason I purchased this item. Definitely not worth the money.

Unlike my clunky old one, it’s light and doesn’t weigh down the page. It illuminates the whole page perfectly so I don’t strain my eyes and it even makes a great Bookmark. A real winner in my book It definitely deserves an award.

Perfect. Wanted a book light that wouldn't damage my book when I put it on the pages and this one is perfect. Soft so it doesnt damage the books, also easy to bend into shape. A pretty blue colour and the light is bright to light both pages!Won't have to squint to read!

Good product, works as it should. Flexible and easy to adjust.Only shame is that the light is bright white rather than warm yellow - you would risk disturbing another person of reading in the dark.

Perfect for car rides in the night. Doesn't distract the driver and keeps child happy reading in the back.
