Bosch Aerotwin AP26U - Front Windscreen Wiper - Replacement Blade - Comes with Modular Adapters - 1 Blade, 650mm

Much cheaper than a garage and easy to fit, usual Bosch quality

I bought this for my newly bought mk2.5 Ford focus along with the corresponding passanger Bosch wiper (ap17u) and rear blade (H382) because the previous owner clearly hadn't replaced any of the wiper blades in long time :) I've been using Bosch blades for years now so I wasn't surpised that these do the job really well and are very easy to install. This is the first set of newer Aero style wipers I've ever installed as my previous car used the old fashioned coat hanger style, so I was a little confused to find 4 sets of adaptors included, luckily however Bosch made this easy and on the back of the box is a list of what Cars for what number adaptor and Ford focus was listed an no1. There is even a link to a video for each of the 4 adaptor types on how to correctly install which was really useful. One thing to be aware of with new Bosch wipers is because of the graphite coating used on the rubber, they may be a little smeary the first few times it rains, but after they initialy bed in they work brilliantly and clear the screen quietly and leave very clear vision.

I bought the Bosch AP26U and AP16U windscreen wipers following a little online research. Imagine my surprise when the packaging arrived and the make of my car (Hyundai) was not listed on the box. Two hours later, after research on numerous other sites, I found they were fine, would fit (with adapter no. 4). It was annoying that I lost 2 hours, but once I knew for sure they would do the job they were easy to fit and are working very well indeed.

It wasn't difficult to install but the how-to that came with the product was non existent. Only because I installed a passenger side wiper from a different producer, I kinda knew what to do. And it is my first car with this type of mount so.... anyway, it's too soon to talk about durability so I gave it 4 stars, cautiously. However, I just believe Bosch is a solid quality product company that has never failed me.

Seriously, Bosch wiper blades are a dream. They just clean well, very silently. No streaking and, joy of joys, no rubbing noises. After enduring the noisy factory fit blades on our car for 12 months these are heaven.
