Amazing Product that you don't think you need - but seriously should get
Simply Great and exceeded all expectations. The device is powered by a USB, a feature on all modern TV . As well as other devices such as games consoles, computer monitors as well as other places possibly around the house. The USB cable is long enough to reach into the TV, and unlike some products which are cheaply made. To fit the device, simply plug into the USB socket and then place the strip onto the device, this is attached using a 3M sticky pad, which is strong and leaves no mess - but of course doesn't need to be used. Then the lights will light up, and are controlled by the small buttons attached to it. You can change the colour, brightness (from dim to very bright) and also have a range of modes from fading to flashing to strobe. The reason this product is so good , is that firstly its discreet and so bright, but beyond that adds such ambience and atmosphere to your TV watching, You can change the brightness and colour to suit what you are watching. Also I have used this as lighting for my room while listening to music on my TV.Overall the product is great quality for a very reasonable price, a great buy. Incase you are wondering about energy usage, as this uses the latest LED technology it uses an incredibly small amount , so you wont be increasing your energy bills !A video is viewable at :https://www.amazon.co.uk/clouddrive/share/bqrg644rezCZtWtKQKFDr4w3Yv1ArekunIbTk3ITnx6?v=grid&ref_=cd_ph_share_link_copy

Worked for 10 minutes then died
So, my postman drops me a package and I get all smiley because I know it's my lights. I eagerly rip open the box to look at what I'd bought, and was quite happy about it. Then I spent half an hour removing my tv from the wall, positioned the strip of lights on the back of it with the supplied double sided sticky, and plugged it into the usb port, and spent another half hour putting the tv back on the wall. Excitedly (I love lights) I shut off the living room lights, close the curtains (much to the annoyance of the wife, who isn't as excited about lights as I am) and switch on my tv. The control pad on the lights is pretty small, and if not positioned well, is a bit fiddly, but I found it easily enough, and switch them on. AWESOME!! my wall has lit up! I cycle through all the colours, styles of flash/fade and speeds. And finally settle on a lovely reddy pinky purple colour, and marvel at how Bloody good it looks. Even the wife agrees.Ten minutes later it died. I press buttons, I hold buttons, I read the instructions (after retrieving them from the bin and wiping dog food off them), I try all the buttons again, try holding all the buttons down in turn, still nothing.Half an hour later, tv on the floor, lights plugged into laptop and still nothing, another half an hour putting tv back on the wall... and now I'm sitting here looking at my tv and thinking "it looks crap now" because I've seen what it could've been but wasn't 'So in summary: 13 quid wasted, an afternoon wasted, lights in the bin, and now I have to find somewhere else to buy lights for my tv. But it could've been worse I guess. At least they weren't expensive.Update: after TRYING to contact the seller (no option here to email them) I still have no response, refund or offer of replacement. It ain't looking good 😔

Great product & Value that adds a nice ambient colour to the TV area.
Very easy to install, just remove the tape, stick in position and plus into the USB port. The item arrived promptly and well packed. I really love this product and although its only 50cm and my TV is 50" it gives off a really bright light to the area behind the TV which is positioned in the corner of the room. Although there are lots of colours, brightness settings and flashing, fade etc, I have just set it to a static blue colour which is really nice and just give a nice ambient light to the corner of the room.Very satisfied, in fact I have bought another strip for my wall mounted TV too.

Its ok, Not great.
This product isnt bad. It does help the contrast hurting your eyes in low light to some degree but it definitely isnt going to be like a more expensive product. is it cool? yeah, it is. The adhesive is not very good though, even if you've dusted before you stick it, it will start peeling off in a month or two. Its easy to restick but a bit annoying. The light does change to a lot of different colours which is nice, but it isnt super bright. I mean you'll see it in a dark room at night but its not going to be great during the day for example. But hey! it is cheap, and for that alone probably worth it
