A class timeless game

I do like that it is a wooden toy, and designed in the UK- however, do note that it is actually built in the PRC. I've only used it a couple times so far, but it seems of good quality/fairly sturdy despite the light weight of the wood. The tokens have concentric circles grooved into them, and it is a little quirk that the center of the token does not match the center of the slot. (Most noticeable in the leftmost or rightmost columns, first picture). I have included photos of the top view of the game as well as the packaging, which is simple and classy, and the box is fairly sturdy.

I don’t know where to start, the craftsmanship of this product is stunning, a real piece. I had ordered a different wooden “four in a row” game from another seller on Amazon and was extremely disappointed as it was cheap / flimsy and smelt awful. I returned that item and ordered this product instead, only slightly more expensive but a million miles away in terms of quality. The packaging alone is the best I’ve seen from anything I’ve ever order on Amazon, and I buy a lot on Amazon. Perfect to present as a gift. I actually kept the box to keep the game in as it is that gorgeous. I never bother writing reviews but I felt compelled to write a product review here as I was so blown away by this beautifully crafted wooden product. Well done Jaques of London ! 👌

It was a Birthday gift for a person with dementia in advanced stages and she enjoys playing it, and often she wins, as the play is simple but also it is complex enough to make you play it again and again. The quality of the wooden play is exceptional and also cames with a beautiful wraping that made unecesary any other wraping. I will order it again for my grandson. Thank you!

Simple, compact, well-made, well-designed. Everything fits perfectly. The playing matrix slides into the top of the box, holding in the counters when the game is stored. You can even pause a game, pack it away and resume the game later with the pieces still in place. Reasonably compact, easy to take on journeys or to the pub. It's nice to have something that's 100% wood with no plastic or metal components. Looks good when in use, with a quality look due to the wooden construction, but it also looks good stored vertically on a bookshelf. Can't fault it.

Los materiales de madera están bien. Cómo pegas diré que el tamaño me lo esperaba más grande y el contraste de colores podía ser mejor para diferenciarlas.

Die Optik schlägt alles, was an Plastikware auf dem Markt ist bei weitem... gleiches gilt für die Haptik. In diesem Sinne ein wunderbarer Klassiker in wirklich schöner Ausführung. Zum Plastikkram durchringen konnte ich mich nicht und bin froh darüber.
