I had a hot-water bottle like this for more than 50 years. This kind of rubber is very durable. But the old one finally became brittle and needed to be replaced. I have not had a need to use this yet, but it is a good warmer for a cold night and comfortable on a sore back. Over the years though, the main thing I used it for was enemas. When you or a family member is constipated, this is a quick easy remedy.

This is super thick, can take boiling water, is full size ~ perfect for an adult. Hard to find. Smaller and less effective water bottles abound. This is the sturdy hardy amazingly warming bottle of yesteryear that's stood the test of time.

It looks great. We haven't used it yet.

This product fulfills the job. It's a little short on capacity, next time I'll buy one with a 1 gallon capacity. The Enema line is very cheap and kinks easily. I'm going to solve that problem by buying some good tubing. Basically you get what you pay for. I would still recommend it for the price.

I've always wanted to try one of these. I couldn't find a triditional enama applicator like the ones I grew up with, so I decided to try this one. I like this one because of its versatility. This hot water bottle kit can be used as an enama, a douche and a hot pack. I've used it for all of those purposes except for a douche. I just choose not to douche any more for the rest of my life. This kit has separate applicator attachments for enama and douche use. It also has a stopper that secures the water bottle for use as a hot pack. It is leak proof. The hose attachment comes with a removable clip that helps stop or slow down the liquid flow needed for enama and douche use. You can hang this in the shower while in use or just to keep stored there. Just like with anything, as long as you use it properly and clean it after every use, you will not risk contamination. I still have mine and I use it as often as needed. I will never get rid of it. I will always have it until it is no longer usable.

I use this regularly. The only complaint I have is with the "turn-off" clip. It is made of hard plastic and is difficult to close. I manage but wish it could be easier.
