Excellent product
Bought for installation in a motorhome, but used it at home before adding to the motorhome. It has worked excellently. Great functionality is available for the advanced user, but simple as plug and play if needed. If installing in a motorhome or RV, would suggest pairing with a good antenna set like the Poynting 4x4 LTE (A-MIMO-4-17)

This Is What You Need
Found out about this through some lucky googling after multiple disappointments from big name networks. This thing absolutely owns. Super easy setup but massively customisable. Has every input you could want and all superbly engineered. If you are looking at a 5g or even 4g router then just buy this and save some time, save a lot of aggro, and quite likely save money too. One of my best purchases ever.

Not great quality or returns policy
Ok this device is just about ok. It looks like it has all been bells and whistles, but reception isn't that great... I used Vodafone 5g and although signal strength isn't great with any mobile providers it would only download at 20meg although have 3 bars of signal. My biggest issues is with the robustness and quality of the product. I've had to return mine under a RMA and apparently they can take 4 weeks to provide a solution to a failure in the device. That's a long time if you're dependent upon the WiFi unit itself. I'm guessing it's sent back to china for inspection and then if you're lucky another is sent out🤞My lasted 6 months or so, and just stopped and wouldn't turn on anymore, so longevity isn't great.I should expect a £400+ router to last many years not a matter of months. The software isn't great, once logged in, its quite confusing for the average person looking to setup their router to provide a decent speed etc. It's dual SIM if that helps, it looks tough on the outside, but it's the quality of the components that's important and speed or redress when something goes wrong.Overall it's not been a great product or experience, we have to pay for the return and has to be signed for and photo proof, as they don't accept losses on route, so make sure it's insured heavily.I think Amazon is letting customers down with such a poor returns policy in this type of expensive device.Look elsewhere as this device has issues due to it's longevity and robustness and if you can wait 4 weeks for a return to happen, if they do ever return it!

Good
Expensive, but does what it claims and has some good customisation and functionality.Prior to this I had a Zyxel (three) router which only supported 2x2mimo. I was getting 40-120 mbps download average when connected to a single 5g poynting XPOL-V2 antennas .With this new router, I have connected 2 of the above mentioned poynting antennas to give me a 4x4 mimo setup. The connection is now around 70-150mbps download.Big investment but happy with the results.

Great router at new lower price
Widely regarded as one of the best 5G LTE routers on the market. I’m using mine in a flat with an external maswell aerial. At the moment. The new version is out with improved internal WiFi this means that the price on this is now nearer £400 than £600. The best thing about this router is that it is so configurable. You can make it latch onto higher speed cellar signals and also add a second sim if you were using it as a mobile internet in a caravan motorhome boat etc.

Feature rich; with some issues.
I wanted to give this a 5 star. This device is amazing, feature rich, expandable, plugin-able, really there isn't much it cannot do. I was looking forward to its sim switching abilities. Unfortunately, and it maybe the carrier's fault, I can't get it to work with EE UK (data only sim). It did connect originally with the EE network and all worked well, but once I setup sim switching (using Three data sim as backup), going back to the EE keeps failing to connect. Just a caution for anyone planning to use this with EE UK.

Not what I expected
I had high expectations when I bought this 5G router but sadly for my needs , it did not perform any better than cheaper 5G routers.ProsThis is a perfect router for an internet savvy individual. It comes backed with many features and services (some paid services ).ConsFor the price tag, this router has only one internal modem. It comes with two SIM card slots but please note that you are limited to using one SIM card at a time and the second SIM card only works for failover purposes which doesn’t work so well on this router.Download and upload speed - I have three separate SIM cards (Three, Smarty and EE) I get better download and upload speed from my cheaper 5G router with no external antenna. The RUTX50 comes with several antennas but they don’t improve your signal strength. I travelled across the UK with my RUTX50 router and it didn’t perform any better than my current router.Internet Bonding - you cannot install an internet bonding service if you’re on the latest firmware this is because the company that provides bonding services is always two or three firmware behind Teltonika’s firmware update and this is the main reason why I had to return my RUTX50 router.Overall I find the router very expensive for what it offers. It is my opinion that this router is only worth half the RRP price.
