I use permanent red box dye approx once every 4 months and usually use directions fuscia pink but fancies trying something different. I applied it to towel dry hair and left about an hour then rinsed. A few days later I washed my hair and while shampooing, the foam was pink but the water ran clear. When I went to dry my hair I was surprised that it's still just as bright. I had worried that the clear water meant it had shampooed out but it hadn't.
