Feels Like . . . QUALITY.
"Is there never such a thing as exceptional value for money?" Yes there is, Rackers, if you don't mind manual focus. This lens gets nice sharp images. It just feels well made too, like you have something special. The lens cap, while nice, is impractical however. All this constant screwing and unscrewing . . . I will probably replace that. And because it's manual you have to make choices because the camera can't read anything and auto set for you. That's OK though . . . Did Francesca Woodman's camera do her settings for her? NO. Or Diane Arbus? Or old Meatyard? NO. Overall it's a very nice lens for an improbable price. Also, here's a photo of a door knob taken by yours truly and the very lens reviewed here.

A Mighty Little Lens Light on the Wallet
Had to leave a review for this little lens that far exceeded my expectations. I wanted a low light lens for my OM-3 to accompany my 12-48 f4 without spending $1200. The proof is in these photos that are straight of the camera with no edits. All of these were taken with shutter speed priority and varying ISOs and exposure bias. For instance the shop had an ISO of 200 and exposure bias of +1.3. I have others with increased ISO but I like the way the shop name pops above the store. My favorite is the golden rose. Best surprise picture and really shows off what this lens can do.

Quality modern lens with the soul of vintage glass
I have a new all-manual favorite. I do black-and-white street photography with an Olympus OM-D EM10ii. When I want a manual lens, I go for my vintage SMC-PENTAX M 50mm f2.0 or my TAKUMAR 28mm f2.8. I love them both, but with the adapters, they make for a bulky setup. With the TTArtisan 25mm f2 I have great picture quality, an all-metal build, and that vintage sense of shooting manual. I never shoot wide-open or go beyond f8 so I haven't got any apparent softness in the pictures and no vignetting. With this said, I know that I can go for f2 if I do need to let a bit more light in. Another positive thing about this lens is the size, it is the perfect match for my camera, keeping it comfortable to carry during long walks and inconspicuous among people. The focus ring is smooth and the aperture ring on the outside gives me better handling than my vintage manual lenses. Please TTArtisans, bring more quality options for the micro four-thirds community in the sub-$100 lens category. This one shows that it is possible to own good glass for amateur photography for enthusiasts who don't have the means to go for even $200 glass.

Solid build but mediocre performance
I bought this lens as a compact carry-around option for my Olympus Pen F digital camera. The size is convenient and it feels solidly built, with a smooth-operating manual focus ring. But the pictures it makes lack sharpness in fine details, and it's very susceptible to flare in even mild backlighting. Some lenses have interesting optical quirks that can give them "character," but not in this case -- it just seems like an ordinary lens that doesn't perform very well. Color rendition is good and the pictures are probably sharp enough for Instagram, but I expected a bit more and I'm afraid I won't be getting much use out of this lens.
