Amazing product, just a little elasticated cover that really does prevent babies from getting their socks off. They work a bit like a pressure bandage so not a great idea to let your baby sleep in them. They are available in several different colours and two sizes (0-6 months and 6-12 months).I have 5 or 6 pairs but to be honest they can be washed in the bathroom sink with soap and water and air dried about an hour later so this is probably overkill....two pairs are more than ample, but for the bargain price, who cares, a wider choice of colours is so much more fun.These would be a great present for any new baby. My only complaint is that they are currently not available in a see-through variety, so if your baby has a pair of socks with a particularly adorable design it does get covered up. Pssst...these things are £6-odd in Mothercare!!!!! :0

As a mother of three boys, I was delighted to discover that somebody had invented a product that finally keeps socks firmly in place. I just wish these had been around when my oldest two kids were little!I was even more delighted to discover that the original 'universal size' sock ons had been improved, and a new range of sizes introduced. This larger 6-12 month size helped me to keep my sanity - and most importantly, keep my son's socks on his feet- for even longer.The plain designs here are bright, bold and so simple to use. Everybody comments on my little one's cute little sock ons. Very simple but ingenious and thoroughly recommended as a practical solution to a very irritating problem.

Amazing at keeping my daughter socks on. She’s quite a wriggler so would kick her socks off easily and our Labrador puppy enjoyed this... as he eats everything! Since using these he’s had no more sock snacks! However now my daughter has found her feet she’s working it how to pull the sockon’s off... never mind haha.

'Sock ons' are great; if you can get them at a good price they are well worth it and these black ones are no different and we are using them with my daughter for dirtier attempts at walking - garden, cafe, shop etc. holding on socks or booties. They are probably quite sophisticated as well, due to the colour, though that isn't what we were thinking but someone suggested it.I didn't use sock ons with my first child because I thought them too expensive for such small items but I should have invested...you make your money back in warm feet, non-lost socks, no extra shopping trips for new socks and not having to end up buying expensive socks because they are the only ones that stay on (we were asking our friend to send us designer socks from NYC until she accidently(?) left a price tag on - $10.50 a pair of baby's socks!!! rest my case...)they are particularly ideal for babies that love pulling them off (neither of mine did/do particularly) and babies that travel in carriers alot (both mine did/do) if so you cant find missing socks in bottom of pram or push-chair because they fell off their dangling foot 3 miles away! sock-ons - great!

I discovered sock-ons very recently and think they are such a fantastic idea that works and looks incredibly stylish on your little one. No more lost socks or cold feet, the sock-ons simply wraps around the foot and sock; it keeps the baby socks on all day and will grow with the baby as they are elasticated. So many people have commented on how good they look and how functional they are. I am very pleased with the sock-ons and have recommended these to all my friends. There are so many different colours and designs to match any and every outfit.

These little things are a brilliant idea! We got given some when our littl'un was born and have now bought the 6-12 month ones. They work perfectly to keep your baby from removing their socks (ours seems to have made it her life goal to have bare feet) while appearing to be very comfortable for her to wear. A little tip, tie one through the other when you take them off to keep them together. We bought via Baby Best Buys and had quick delivery and an excellent price. All highly recommended.

These sock-oms are amazing, my friends used these when they first came out and now that I have a baby who is superfast at crawling and needs to have socks, these work so well. I had to get 6-12 months when he was 5 months as his feet are big but they were just right, I am now going to uy the size up as his feet are too big at 9 months old. I will recommend to every mum to buy these for their babies xx

Sock ons work wonders for keeping those socks on when kicking around or crawling/cruising etc. I've significantly reduced the time I used to spend hunting around the room for socks that have fallen off, or retracing my steps to find a sock that has fallen off when he's kicking around in his carrier! Unfortunately though they haven't stopped him pulling his socks off himself, but I guess there's nothing out there that will do that! It did stop him to begin with, and then he found out he could still pull his socks off leaving the sock ons on his bare feet?! Then a few weeks later he found the knack for pulling both sock and sock on off. But they work really well at keeping those socks on when we're out and about and he's got better things to do than pull those socks off! :-)
