A Fantasy Lover's Ideal Read
Liam is a prince and heir to the throne in the land of Derzeli. He's against the honour killings of dragons. When his father, the king, slays a dragon, Liam rescues one of her eggs and hides it in a cave where no one will find it, except Anna, Liam's love interest, who is also wanted by Cullen, Liam's brother and 2nd in line to the throne. Liam looks after the egg until a baby dragon hatches on his birthday and he names her Ella. When Liam discovers his father has been murdered and the culprit has used Liam's sword, Liam is framed for the murder and has to escape from Derzeli or face execution for treason. Liam believes that Cullen has stitched him up. Liam escapes with the help of Ella, who is growing up so fast. Where will Liam go? Who can help him now? Will he be found and taken to trial for his father's murder? How will he convince people that he's not guilty?I enjoyed this book, it was an exciting and suspenseful fantasy tail. There were a few grammatical errors and I hope the author can fix them because it is a nice story.

Interesting
This is a very interesting story. The characters do develop. The punctuation would benefit from some attention as could some if the sentences.

Fantasy novel
A good storyline and cool engaging with the characters, Lian and Ella firstly. What I liked the most is that the characters are vivid, well-described.If you are looking for a story that touches action, love, friendship and dragons... well, this might be a good pick!

Fantasy novel with charm
I made the decision a few weeks ago to change my genre of reading and be more varied. I know that fantasy and dragons have become popular over recent years so i decided to give the book an airing. I am glad i did, I really enjoyed it. Prince Liam is the main character and the rightful heir to the kingdom of Derzil. He is brought up to kill dragons, however his sensitive side refuses to do this, instead he hides and protects a dragon egg who later becomes Ella, whilst the book follows him through a timid mild boy to a great leader of his people.I thought Dain was well thought out and a well written character. The tension does build at a good pace through the book and has a good ending. There were a few spelling mistakes within the book and a few grammar faults, but all authors do not have the money of big names to fund teams of editors. I looked beyond this and took the story for what it was. It was a well written story by an author with talent.

Dragons and armies...what's not to like?
I read this as one of several "Dragon" fantasy stories I have got into recently, and was not disappointed. The book details a rich world, full of action and a twisting story line that keeps you reading. Very descriptive in the writing with good narrative, and the story comes together well towards the end. Intriguing enough to make me look at Book 2 which I will be adding to my TBR. A great tale.

Fantastic Fantasy!
I’ve read a lot of fantasy over the years, some great and some really bad. However this is one of those fantasy tales you don’t want to stop reading. The protagonist is deeply interesting and is presented with many challenges he must overcome. The landscape is also brought to life with vivid descriptions such as “The black plain was so desolate and empty. It was so cold, and my skin tingled all over. Mountains all over, how it was something I had never seen before. The ground so grain feeling. How maybe there were better times, but over time the dragons destroyed them all.”The writing style is simple, direct, and fast paced, leaving no room for boredom. I would really recommend this if you’re a fan of the fantasy genre!

Fantastic Epic Fantasy!
Ella is a very enjoyable story about dragons and outcast princes. The story centres around Prince Liam, a gentle soul who does not believe in hunting dragons. Raising the baby dragon in secret after saving the creature from destruction, Liam’s life takes a devastating turn. Can Prince Liam save the Kingdom of Derzeli from dark times? This book could do with some love from an editor as a couple of grammatical errors detract slightly from a great story with characters you care about – especially Liam and Dain. The author is talented in creating a believable world, and a story that takes you in – I really wanted to see what would happen in the end. The tension builds really well to a well set up ending. If you like fantasy fiction with medieval elements and dragons, then definitely check this out as it’s a great read!
