The collar was super cute, and exactly as pictured. My issue was the quality. The very first day, within a few hours of putting it on my dog, I noticed that the fabric had like moved in such a way that it looked worn as if I’d had it for 5 years. Instead of writing an immediate bad review since it could have been a fluke, I contacted the company directly through email. To my surprise, they answered me right back but only to tell me that they’ve been aware of this problem, have received a bunch of complaints, but for right now that’s how it is. That if I didn’t like it to contact amazon and take it up with them for a refund. I mean I could have figured that out on my own 🙄. So unfortunately I do NOT recommend this product because even though the designs are cute and the collar itself is pretty sturdy, the material is complete garbage.

The collar is beautiful and the quality seems good. I got the Pink Flowers collar for a male dog as the design is more leafy and swirls then it is flowers. I did not notice that once it was in the cart the description had changed to “for female dogs”. I was relieved when I received it as the pink is more of a beige and light mauve mix. The burgundy has a slight bronze hue to it. Beautiful colors! It will totally look great on a male or female dog.It is very concerning to me that on every critical review that states the ribbon tore the manufacture replied that they were aware of the problem, and on the next orders they would be using improved ribbon material. However, these reviews on Amazon range from August to December. If it was going to be improved in August on all the next orders, why are they still promising that in December? Based on this, I am concerned that these statements are misleading, and wonder whether I receive the improved quality ribbon or not. I saw the reviews and ordered the collar based on the fact they said the ribbon have been improved on all future orders. I did not notice the discrepancy on the review dates until after I had placed my order, or I would have inquired with the company for clarification. I think they should have made it clear that they would sell their old stock first instead of posting all future orders would be made of the new ribbon. I am assuming they have improved the ribbon as they stated. Hopefully, I have received a collar with the improved material. I don’t know how many stars to give the collar yet. I will update my review along with the star rating after the dog has worn the collar long enough to determine the quality. Jan 26 Update: the material is starting to tear. I have included a photo of one the tears. The manufacture offer me a return or to buy a different collar made out of neoprene which I’m not interested in. What I’m interested in is this collar with the newer ribbon material as stated by the manufacture on the previous reviews.

Well made and beautiful color, it fits well and the separate attachment for the ID tag is a great idea. Only problem is that my puppy has scratched the collar and it doesn’t look as good as when it was new. Puppies always scratch at their first collar as they get used to wearing one. I hadn’t realized that getting a chocolate Labrador puppy means that she blends into the night and dark so well. I now wish these collars came with a luminous part so we can see her in the dark.

Bear loves his new collar! The clip is very secure. The design is so handsome. I love that there is a separate loop for the tag and a separate loop for where you attach the leash. It makes life a lot easier and his tag doesn't get banged up, so the whole shebang lasts a lot longer. This collar was a bit more expensive than I usually spend but now that I have it I'm so glad I bought it and I will definitely be a repeat customer. I'm already about to purchase a different one for my parent's dog because they've had bad experiences in the past with the clips coming undone on other brands collars and their dog almost getting away on walks and whatnot. Never again with the CitizenK9!

charged restock on the incorrect size return Arrived in excellent time, but I am returning the Medium collars - they are not large enough, when I fully Extend them - they just barely reach the largest length, and with 2 Golden Puppies - they will not be large enough to fit when they are full grown is my concern

I now own 4 of these outstanding collars.They're very well made, with a sturdy clasp that stays closed, yet can be easily opened. That's a tough combo to achieve, but Buju Citizen K9 has done it. There are several color combinations to choose from and the price is right. They're also very easy to adjust. Highly recommend. And as a bonus, the seller is awesome!

We have loved this collar for over a year, but sadly the plastic tag holder broke off. Our dog went 2 days not wearing her tags. We did find them and she might have pulled it off. Otherwise this collar did the job and looks great. Easy to clean. Very cute design.

Great collar! It is a solid product, I love the look and it is durable. What I really love is that it is thinner for a big dog. Most collars get really thick as you order them for larger dogs but this one stays a normal size. Kudos to Citizen K9 for that feature.
