Barry White - The Collection

Never received instead a roll of plastic arrived which is sticky on one part with harder plastic holes on top. Size of each on tape 2” square. No idea what they are for and I certainly didn’t order them. Thick someone sent by mistake for my Barry White cd.Dont know what to do and I am recovering from throat cancer so not much energy to deal with. Not too good on internet as on my own, self taught and 70 years old. Please reply. Thankyou.

I am not going to go over what has already been said about most of the tracks on this album other than I hold the same view that the first 15 songs are brilliant.However the 16th track, i.e Never Never Gonna Give You Up (12" Remix), when I first heard it I was blown away, it is one of the best remixes I have every heard. It has done full justice to the original song and added a little bit extra. I would go as far to say that this track is worth the price of the whole CD and the other fifteen tracks are the bonuses.Unfortunately, there are no sleeve notes to tell you how this great remix came to be but I found out that it was done by Paul Hardcastle (remember "19", the number 1 hit anti Vietnam war song). Well, Paul has struck gold again.Paul, if you are still out there I hope that you do some more remixes of Barry's songs.

I have never acquired a Barry White cd before, even though my iPod seems to have just about everything the man ever recorded!Anyway, espying this excellent collection, and wishing to have a "hard" copy to hand at home, I stuck it in my basket!Having had the opportunity to play the cd several times now, I could not be more pleased.No one quite like BW, and the man is sadly missed.Highly recommended.

Very happy with this - it contains the songs Walking In the Rain and It May Be Winter Outside which I have been searching for to be on a Barry White album without success for some years, but have finally found on this CD - fab. Thank you.

It was a nice gift for my husband, he wanted one to keep in the car, is very pleased with the selection of songs

Purchased for my mum as part of her mothers day present, and she loves it.Its not left her car CD player since and when I scrounge a lift I get to listen. Despite not being from my era I was surprised at how many songs I knew. It has most of his classic/big hits on here ,wont bore you with the list just checkout the track listing on amazon. buy you wont be disappointed.

The start to "the first, last everything" has been chopped off so no narration from BW. He is not featured on two tracks. Of the 16 tracks on this CD I only rate 10 of them.

What l like about this cd there is some really good songs on it.
