I am a part time baker at a little cafe and for July 4th, we wanted red, white and blue decorations. So I wanted to do some red white and blue frosting. I got the blue no problem, but the red, forget about it! No matter what I tried with other red gels, it just didn't work. So upon doing some research, I was told to use this food coloring, and that it was even better paired with pink (use pink first, then the red). I bought both this red and some pretty bright pink, and after putting the pink in, all it took was a little bit of this stuff and the magic happened. The best part is that the color deepened and became really rich after sitting for a while. I got the perfect red, white and blue frosting, thanks to this color. I will be buying colors from this brand from now on!
