Absolutely amazing , but…
I already purchased this back in 2018 with my first child and I was super happy, easy quick to use and amazing results. It’s an absolute must have. However we upgraded our vacuum - fro Henry to Dyson cordless v15 , and sadly doesn’t work with the cordless Dyson as first doesn’t properly fit in and second it gives error that the vacuum is blocked. Sadly had to return as it just simply won’t work with our vacuum

Best thing for snuffly little noses!
This is a brilliant product! Like other reviewers, I was a bit apprehensive of the "attach it to the hoover" approach, but having lost my old manual bulb-type aspirator, with a screaming newborn baby on my hands, and unable to get to the pharmacy (too soon after giving birth to be traversing the town!) I had to go with whatever had the express delivery option.I ended up paying £20 for Benny aspirator with delivery, and I have to say it's worth every penny. You'll be amazed at how gentle the suction really is, even attached to a powerful vacuum. The bit that goes in the baby's nose is designed in such a way as to control air pressure (how do I explain it, it's got the same kind of slits in it as a wand attachment on a hoover) so I think even people with Dysons shouldn't be put off. I haven't tried it on my own Dyson though, as I've got a smaller, less powerful gimmick of a vacuum that's more convenient for hovering noses! If you're still afraid the suction might be too powerful, mind that you can also use Benny as one of those manual suck-it-yourself aspirators (which is what I'm now mostly doing, that's quicker and less noisy than attaching it to the hoover every time!). Just detach the end funnel and pop the straw bit in your mouth. The straw is so long there's no chance any snot will ever get in your mouth.I tried it on my toddler, too, and I was amazed how much came out - he can blow his nose but this thing gets more out than he'd be able to do by blowing. One tip though. On first few tries, I was unable to get much out of the baby's nose, just because their nostrils are so tiny it's hard to get proper suction. In desperation, I rang my mum who's a paediatrician. She said to put the baby on her side, put some saline drops into the lower nostril ( so if she's lying on her right side, that would be her right nostril), plug the other nostril with my finger and THEN try. Be careful to only put Benny to her nose for 1-2 seconds at a time though. Then turn her on the other side and repeat with the other nostril. That did work. I've only had to do this a few times though, as often Benny works without any such manipulations. It also helps to wiggle it about so as to try different angles. All in all, this is a brilliant product and I really can't recommend it highly enough. Now I have it, I really can't think how I ever managed with the old bulb. One word of warning though, to keep it properly clean you do need to rinse it thoroughly straight after use. But that's probably the case with any aspirator. All in all, this really is a brilliant product and I can't recommend it highly enough. I can't think how I ever managed

ESSENTIAL piece of baby/child kit!
I admit I had to re-read the description several times to see if it really did connect to the 'vacuum cleaner' hose! It does and it is AMAZING! I looked at all the reviews for the manual suction aspirators & the electronic ones & they were hit or miss, the vacuum ones didn't lose a single star, & rightly so I could not have got through these past 10 days without it. My 5 month old baby was so congested that she couldn't feed & woke every half hour through the night crying, this arrived the morning after that night & she was able to feed immediately after her nose was cleared, stopped crying & gave me a big 'thank you mummy' smile :-) I used nasal spray first with her, especially in the morning to loosen everything -Sterimar baby 100% natural spray (also bought on amazon) STERIMAR BABY 50ML & she was so congested I used the aspirator 4 times a day at first, dropping down to twice a day towards the end of her cold (first thing in the morning & before bed) My 4 year old had a cold at the same time & she liked doing her own nose! She said it 'tickled' but soon got used to it & would actually ask if she could 'vacuum' her nose as she felt so much better afterwards! Even the baby doesn't cry now as it doesn't hurt. The 4 year old normally ends up with bad chesty coughs after her colds but not this time, her cold cleared completely in 4 days.Delivery was so fast, the distributor offers free delivery with this product and it arrived the day after I ordered it! I got it straight out of the box gave it a quick wash -very easy under the hot tap and the water runs through it. The instructions are clear and very simple! The big end goes in the vacuum hose, the other end to the nose. I found it easy to use by myself, I put the baby in the bouncy chair so I could put one hand on the side of her head only takes a few seconds on each nostril. It consists of clear plastic tubing so you can see what is collected -this fascinates my 4 year old!!As parents we feel helpless when our little ones have a cold, now with this I actually feel 'helpful!' My husband calls it the 'snotvacuum!' Wish I'd discovered it 4 years ago when my first was born. Worth it's weight in gold and will now be my new baby gift of choice.
