I bought this pastel label starter pack to go with the Dymo LetraTag 200B, and it has been a great addition. The pastel green, blue and strawberry colours are bright enough to stand out but still soft and tasteful, so labels look cheerful rather than resembling industrial warning signs. The 12mm width is a very useful everyday size. It works well for storage boxes, drawers, folders, containers, cables and all the other household items my daughter has decided can no longer survive without a printed identity. The labels print clearly, and the text remains easy to read against the coloured backgrounds. They feed through the label maker smoothly, peel away easily and stick well to clean surfaces without curling at the edges. Having several colours also makes it easier to organise things by category. Different shades can be used for different rooms, types of storage or family members, although in our house the system currently appears to be based mainly on whichever colour looks nicest at the time. Each four-metre roll lasts reasonably well, and the pack is a good way to try several colours without committing to a large supply of one particular shade. The finished labels look much more fun than plain white ones and give everyday organising a little extra personality. Five stars. The labels are attractive, easy to use and have successfully encouraged an already enthusiastic labeller to expand her territory.

These work well, but watch the price! I bought some spare tapes when I bought the label maker, but within a few weeks the price of the spare labels had gone up by 26.9%

I purchased this at the same time as I purchased the DYMO LetraTag. I went with the black print of white plastic as the DYMO LetraTag came with black print on paper labels, and I wanted to see which of the two I preferred, so that I could then purchase the more preferred type thereafter. I also found at the time I purchased this, that the plastic labels were cheaper than the paper type. When I received the DYMO LetraTag, I popped the plastic label cassette in and gave it a try. I found that the plastic labels (to my eyes) were ever so slightly bolder and clearer to read, and they looked very professional, when compared to peel off white labels that you write on with a pen (that I used to use). Also looking at the description for the plastic labels, in mentions "polyester tape is wipeable, tear resistant" so this would seem to indicate that the plastic labels may be more suited for use in more damper environments (kitchen, bathroom etc). The thing I really like about these cassettes is, you can swap them out for another type (paper label cassette for example) and print the required label, and then pop the other type that you have back in, to totally suit the type of label you so wish to print at that particular time. Most of my labelling so far, as been labelling the multitude of plugs I have in my home, so that I can identify at a glance, which item the plug is for, before unplugging it. My partner is into crafting, and she has used the labels for to organise her small bags, boxes of crafting knick-knacks. Not much else to say, apart from, I expect that this cassette will last me quite a few years with us been very light users, so in light of that, these are excellent value for money.

I’ve been really happy with the DYMO LetraTag. It prints clearly, sticks well to different surfaces, and doesn’t smudge or peel easily. Easy to install and use, and the labels look neat and professional. Great value for organizing at home or in the office.

Use this machine at work, and the tapes are cheap and long lasting

Excellent quality, much better than the regular paper labels that are usually included with the label printer.
