Cheaper made than expected, film stock takes forever to insert.

I’ve been needing an affordable compact camera and have been leaning towards film for a fun “toy camera” as someone else referred to this as. I’ve seen what it’s capable of, and am getting 2 rolls of high speed monochrome film (Ilford) tomorrow. 5 star delivery for sure and I love the pop up flash. I mainly bought this because I have a concert to go to where they probably won’t care about me sneaking in a camera, and it’s Death Grips before my birthday. The viewfinder is clear. I know how to shoot film. If you know what you’re doing (Google is free and camera guys can help you out) it can be a great first camera for anyone. 😊

Compré la Kodak Kodak i60 como regalo y ha sido un acierto total. Buscaba algo sencillo, divertido y con ese toque “retro” de la fotografía analógica, y esta cámara cumple perfectamente con esa idea. Es muy fácil de usar, incluso para alguien que no tiene experiencia con cámaras de carrete: cargar el rollo es intuitivo y el manejo es prácticamente automático. Lo mejor ha sido la experiencia en sí. Después de probar varias cámaras analógicas, los resultados con esta son bastante buenos. El diseño es ligero y cómodo, ideal para llevarla a cualquier sitio sin complicaciones. No da sensación de fragilidad, pero tampoco es una cámara profesional, y eso forma parte de su encanto. En cuanto a resultados, las fotos tienen ese estilo analógico clásico, con imperfecciones bonitas, colores suaves y un aire nostálgico que no se consigue con el móvil. Como punto menos positivo, obviamente depende de carretes y revelado, lo que implica más coste y menos inmediatez, pero si lo que se busca es la experiencia, merece mucho la pena. En resumen, un regalo diferente, especial y muy recomendable para quien quiera volver a disfrutar de la fotografía de forma más auténtica.

I was hesitant to buy this since there was literally only one review on it but this camera just looked so cute and tempting that I went and did it anyway! There is two problems I ran into so far. I use 36 exp. Films for everything, so you can imagine my surprise when I received my printed photos and it only said "26 photos" on the paper. This camera seems to have a shutter problem I think? maybe it stays stuck sometimes when you take the picture but that's a real bummer because I basically waste film by using this thing. The counter also seems to stay stuck sometimes because it just stops moving even after taking a bunch. Also be careful while taking pictures indoors, I think that might be a me problem but I didnt use the flash at some point because we were in a fairly well lit room and the photos came out very underexposed. Either way, it's a real bummer because it's a really cute and practical camera if you want to take quick point and shoots, but if you are willing to waste some of your precious film on it, go ahead :')
